sorry folks, but can someone enlighten me to when, what and where I can look at pics or send them. Dont' know anything about a competition.

I would buy the flash, I have a SB910, I don't use it much at the moment cos it scares me half to death, but I will persevere with it as the work I have done, bounce flash etc, is good. I have a long way to go to learn all about flash, but I am glad I made the purchase. Photography is all a learning curve, I use utube tutorials, they are good and helpful.

So glad you started this thread, I used to use iphoto a lot for my quick editing, I took some great shots whilst skiing and decided to make an iphoto book, exactly the same thing happened to me, I was soooo disappointed.

Someone mentioned to me that it was the lab, they don't seem to care, they just print and I should have taken it or sent it to a more professional set up. Personally I'm not so sure, I think also it cold be something to do with the ratio, I just cropped and hoped for the best.

Love to get an opinion.

You have taken a great street photograph to be proud of, difficult to do, I am also keen on street photography but I do agree with Captain C, to make a great pic edit in raw and do it the correct way and you will have a great pic.

Thanks for all that info, I am new to LR I have worried myself silly about "how to get photos from my card reader" actually in to LR. still find the very initial bit confusing, but will read over and over and it may go in to old thick head at some time.
