I have a Canon 5D Mark II and a few nights ago I was taking grad night pictures and I think I messed it up. Now when I shoot in anything but automatic my shutter stays closed for a long time. My exposure compensation, and F-stop go crazy too. Then the attempted shot isn't recorded, it's like I never took a picture. I was thinking about setting the camera back to the default settings. Has anyone had this problem before? Any suggestions? Here's the worse part I have an important photo shoot this Tuesday. Any ideas and suggestions are welcomed.

Now, now, boys and girls. This is beginning to look like the chit-chat section.

Do you have any experience with the 300mm L f/4?It's the same rim size (77mm) so I can use the same filters I use for my 24-70 and 70-200.

I use this lens. Check my posts. It works well with a 1.4 as well as a 2x Canon extender.

Tracy and I came across this spotted harrier the other day , was just cruising the fence lines looking for prey, as were we
the last one shows just how vulnerable they are to car strike , as they fly low to the ground hunting
how they manage to hang in the air a few feet from the ground is just amazing

Back in my 35mm film days, I had used a 2x tel-converter and had some very good results with it, but I'm wondering if anyone has any history with them now and if so, how satisfied are you? I own a Cannon Rebel T3, have the 300 zoom lens and was thinking about getting a 2x for it.

I use both a 2x and 1.4x with my Canon 300mm f/4. Check my last two eagle posts. I used the 2x on them. Both are Canon.

I had this little guy begging for sunflower seeds below the feeders at the store today. He was getting the finches to toss some over the edge so he didn't even care that customers would walk right by so I had to grab a shot of him.

Great "tree rat" shot!............. :D
