Wonderful !!! Color me jealous !!!

I particularly like the way the one zebra's rump it's like a puzzle into the stripes on the other zebra - - looks like they're conjoined at the tush...

Your water efforts are life-savers !!!

Thanks for your comments. We had a great time.

I like these a lot. They re-fuel my desire to go to Africa. I have to go to Alaska this summer, (boo-hoo.) But Africa next year, if I can possibly do it.

Thanks for looking. There is a lot to see and do in Alaska (lived and worked there for over 20 years) have a great time!

Thanks to an earlier post I went to see the eagles yesterday. Lots of eagles but too far away and too windy for good photos. I took these to show my wife I was really there.

Photos of lions last week, eagles this week. Life is good!

At the end of a humanitarian trip to Tanzania, to help provide water to the remote villages, we went on a couple of short safaris. Here are a few photos.

VERY nice shot! I was all set to go last night, but the clouds never cleared, rained and rained. Had to watch it streaming from the Griffith Observatory.

Thanks for your comment. Fortunately, the weathermen were wrong here!

I thought we were supposed to have clouds so I had all my photo gear in its place in my office. Checked outside after dinner and it was clear with a beautiful full moon. After hurrying to get tripods set up for scope and camera I was able to take a quick 115 photos. This was the last one I took. It is unedited except for a slight crop to include the moon and stars captured. (the clouds did show up and we have 6" of snow on the ground and it is still snowing hard)

Saw hummingbirds at the entry to Sand Hollow State Park, near St. George, Utah during a family reunion. Returned this morning for some photos, here are two for your viewing. Taken with Nikon D850 and Nikon 70-200 f/2.8 VRII.

Went to Zion National Park this morning for a quick photo session. I will be spending the next three days taking photos of my grandson who is the varsity catcher on his HS baseball team. Enjoy the photos I sure enjoyed taking them.

I am selling my Nikon D800 Full Frame DSLR body. Sale includes battery grip with extra AA battery tray. Well cared for since purchased new comes complete with original packaging, manual, camera strap, front cap, and battery charger with two batteries. I will include both 32GB SD and CF SanDisk memory cards. With a current shutter count of 24,080, it is barely over 12% of its designed 200,000 releases. Looks and works like a brand new camera. (It has been replaced with a D850) Will accept PayPal and covers lower 48 shipment.

Oh man, that composite is so well done. I bet those kids will appreciate it even more as the grow older. My son had an eclipse party in St. Louis and his wife made eclipse hors d'oeuvres for the kiddies: a half a dark grape on top of a banana slice, lol.

Thanks for the comments. We had lunch consisting of Sun Chips, Sunkist Orange Juice, Moon Pies (home made), ham/turkey sandwiches on round bread and sundaes for desert. No calories were spared.
