One of the prettiest gardens I've seen on a golf course. Naples, Florida!

where in NC

Carl, in the Southwest area of NC. About an hour south of Asheville, NC and about an hour and a half north of Greenville, SC. Just across the SC/NC border. The town is Cashiers, NC. Wish I had more than 2 1/2 days. Would have loved to experiment with many of the waterfalls in the area. Just no time!

A few of the many shots I took at this beautiful location in the mountain area of North Carolina. Serene, peaceful and lush!

Thanks. All rooms and cabins have no TV, phone, cell or internet. All designed for quality family time. It works! Hiking, tennis, golf, canoes, kayaks, volleyball, fishing, swimming, afternoon tea and fabulous food!

Just upgraded my equipment. Would like to get a camera bag that would enable me to tote all my gear in one bag and then be able to select the items I want to use when I arrive at my destination. I have a nikon D750 with their 24-120 f4 lens, a Nikon 70-200 f2.8 , a Nikon 50mm f1.8, and a Tamron 150-600.

Alternatively I'd consider putting all but the Tamron into a Back Pack type bag to carry around(Unless someone knows of one that would accommodate all).

Any suggestions would be appreciated?

I purchased this bag a few months ago for air travel. It meets all requirements for carry-on. I carry two bodies, 4 lenses and flash attachments. It has wheels and multiple secure locks. A little expensive but well worth it. Great camera travel bag. Think Tank Airport Airstream

Sequence shots of a Blue Heron Taking off. There are a few more in the sequence but for purposes here just three. Such grace watching this bird. Hope you enjoy!

I like all 3 very much but the bottom one best of all.

Thanks infocus. I do hope you also saw the edited image on the first page. Comments from members were great and it motivated me to remove the tree in post. Hope you like it even more!

Thanks. I did post an edit of #3 back on the first page. I hope you saw it. Much better when I removed the tree. Like it a lot!

Pose of heron fine in all 3 but in 2 and 3 the background is less distracting.

Appreciate the comment. I agree and edited #3 to eliminate the tree. You can see it in an earlier post. Much better!!

Peeling paint is a photographer's muse! For what it's worth, I like #3 because the animal's neck is in an unusual position. Beautiful captures.

Thanks Debbie, I too like the neck turned. I hope you saw my additional post where I edited out the tree in #3. Improvement!!

Thanks all. I didn't have much time this morning but took a few minutes to post process one of the images. Most liked #3 so I used that one. I worked on the tree (not post) and removed as best I could. Hope this makes the image more appealing! This is just another example of how I value comments and opinions of HG members. Thanks again!

Took these three shots of a Heron as I was working at the golf course yesterday. Like each one but not sure which is the better pose. Always appreciate comments from UHHers!!
