Nice images. Thanks for the inspiration.

Headed over there today. We have tickets for the ice skating show on Saturday. Since schools started I'm hoping we can find a campsite close to town.

Great! Look forward to some of your images. For what it's worth, the ice rink manager is: Scott Irvine. I just talked to him this past week. He'll remember my wife fell on the ice and broke her wrist. There are a number of campsites nearby. Checkout the town of Hailey as well. Not far from Ketchum. Good luck!

Your trout fishing scene really "sings"' to me.

Thanks. That was taken a little downstream from a small bridge.

Thanks Linda. Such a beautiful spot. A great place to work on landscape photography.

I got published again! Funny thing..I was with my chiropractor when he opened the package with the new Voice of Health magagzine in it. He knew before I did that I got a cover this time! But evidently they don't pay for a cover shot, only the center spread. :( Oh, well.

Congrats. Despite not getting paid its a nice honor!

He's cute but he doesn't look like a teddy bear dog.

Thanks! He is a Teddy Bear breed. They are half Shih Tzus and half Bichon Frises. Most get to 8-16 lbs. this one is bigger at 22 lbs. Cute dog with excellent temperament. This was Oscar as a pup taken with an iPhone.

My brother had me take a couple of casual shots of his dog, "Oscar". I had never seen a Teddy Bear breed. Cute!

Love all your beautiful shots, Rob, but especially love the one with you and your wife paragliding! Our son is in the Navy and when he was stationed in Spain, he paraglided in the Alps! Loved it.

Thanks. Appreciate the compliment. I'm really trying to improve my photography each time I get a chance to shoot. On this trip I didn't paraglide with her. She went in tandem with an instructor. I stood back and took the photos using the 70-200 2.8. Unfortunately most of the shots were looking east into the morning sun and there was a lot of haze. But I'm working on removing in PP. Here are just couple more! Thanks again!

I will definitely try. I've used Lightroom and recently got PS CC but haven't delved into it. I'll also check out the forum. Thanks for your help!

So much better. Was this in Lightroom or PS? Technique? Really appreciate your help. I have others with the same haze due to the time of day and most of the "flying" was done looking toward the east!

Nice set but I really like the 2nd shot. Not brave enough to do the last one myself.

My wife absolutely loved it once they took off. You can see in this first shot her expression as they made the first leap. She has some great footage from her GoPro. They stayed up for 35 minutes!

Nice! Did you get up to Galena summit?

Headed over next week for the ice show. I need to inquire if they will allow cameras (suspect not).

I've only been to the top of the mountain skiing. The view is spectacular then too.

Edit: I checked. Cameras ALLOWED at the ice skating show: no flash. I'll share some images in a couple of weeks.

Here are three of the many shots I took during the ice show!

I just hope you pay attention where you post and/or follow the photo analysis instructions...

This is why the admin moved this to the gallery.

As to your pictures? They are ok. You may want to work a bit to remove some of the blue cast in PP.

Thanks for the heads up. I realize now what I did (or didn't do) I forgot to click on the drop down menu. I'll be more conscience of it in the future!

As far as analysis request this sucks and will end in the gallery.

Thanks. I appreciate your constructive analysis and suggestions. I promise it will encourage me to continue to learn and experiment with photography.
