That looks like fresh water. If it were the ocean, you'd have "one foot above sea level." :) I like your photo, but agree about cropping the foot; to me, it's distracting.

Good day, everyone. I'm a 70-year-old native Texan, a retired USAF officer, and now a trainer of electronic medical record software. I've been taking pictures since I was a young boy, starting with my dad's old Kodak Vigilante bellows camera and 620 film. Moved up to an SLR, the digital P&Ss, and now am an avid user of two Canon 50Ds. I prefer to shoot landscapes, seascapes, sunrises, sunsets, and wildlife. I've had no formal photography training, but continue to learn every time I take off a lens cap. I love to travel, and I now reside in the Dallas, Texas area.
