I have a light box I sometimes use and place a black background behind the flowers. And sometimes the lighting just works out this way. This picture was a live orchid in a show in St. Louis, Mo.

Very nice.. There is a photographer in Australia that I think is one of the best flower photographers I have seen. Tina Dial. Google her and look at some of her pictures.

Thanks. I like flowers well enough that I think it's hard to get bad pictures of them. So I don't think it's so much skill as just shooting and working with what the flowers give you.
