I wonder why so many people do not understand that the higher minimum wage goes, that there will be fewer people a company can afford to employ? (And the higher the cost of wh**ever product is being produced or sold will go, to compensate for paying each employee more.)

It seems that most people only think one step ahead. Raise my wage and VOILA, nothing else is affected by it.

Glad to see you admit your ignorance:

"Make no mistake—Barack Obama is going to go down in history as one of the great American presidents. At home he has confronted a slew of issues—poverty, health, r****m, gun laws, unemployment, immigration, and the criminal justice system—with amazing tenacity, sometimes to great effect, even though the Republicans have fought him tooth and nail over every attempt at reform.

This is just outright delusional.

1. Poverty? There is more poverty now than when Obama took office.

2. Health? Overall health hasn't changed but the prices have skyrocketed the most in our entire history because of Obamacare.

3. R****m? Are you kidding? Everyone agrees that race relations has worsened.

4, Gun Laws? What new gun laws are you talking about? He even admits he didn't accomplish anything.

5. Unemployment? Labor Participation is at lowest point in nearly 40 years.

6. Immigration? South and Central America is sending unaccompanied children to us by the hundreds of thousands.

7. Criminal Justice?? Obama stands on the side of thugs against the police who have been getting murdered, and he empties our prisons of more than 1000 drug dealers, not to mention he puts on the streets tens of thousands of i*****l a***ns convicted of felonies.

Say hello for me to Ricardo Mentalblock over there in Fantasy Island.

Saved millions of lives? I guess if you don't include the millions of additional wartime casualties it would have cost for the US to try to invade and occupy the Soviet Union, and that's assuming that the Congress and American people would have agreed to it, which is utter fantasy on your part. The people were more than done with war after WWII and in no apatite to start another war with world's 2nd strongest power who had just got done almost single-handedly defeating N**i Germany.

You live in a dream world. And a scary one at that...

You're like a Neo-con war monger times twenty!

So you agree with my assessment, you just don't think it would have been possible to convince people to do that.

Is this another attempt at false equivalency again? You live in a fantasy world to pretend that Trump and Clinton are equally dishonest, dangerous, psychopathic, incompetent as POTUS, unprepared for dealing with foreign relations, demagogic, bigoted, misogynist, or demonstrating a history of con artistry and screwing over the average Joe. But you will never come to your senses on this.

They are!

Yes, that is true. What conclusions do you draw from that--nuclear attack on Moscow, perhaps?

There are countries that differ from us, and we have limited ability to change that. I offer again Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan. How about B******i? There are many places where violence abounds. We don't have to approve it, but sometimes--usually--we can't stop it.

We tried, failed miserably, and caused even more deaths and suffering in the countries I mentioned.

What is your solution?

General Patton wanted to go after the Russians right at the end of World War II. Truman stopped him. It probably would have saved millions of lives in Russia and all the sattellite C*******t Countries that were ens***ed under the Russian Boot for 45 years.

His biggest success was in race relations, he followed Revrend Wright's teachings.

I feel that his biggest success was in reducing the Labor Participation Rate by 4%. These people now stayed home and watched The Apprentice on TV and they fell in love with the host. It was this 4% margin that gave Trump the victory!

Ah, ok. Perhaps the title should be more clear. Nobody claimed the e******n affected her foreclosure.

And yes, blame for her refusal, and the refusal of tens of millions of v**ers for that matter, to do any due diligence reference checks and examination of the track record and character of the person they decided to trust with the keys to the family jewels, rests with themselves. There were plenty of red f**gs and flashing warning lights regarding the fact that their Orange Savior was nothing but a professional narcisstic con artist. We have a nation of dumbed down, reality tv watching, stupid gullible people easily distracted by shiny objects and demagoguery. I guess people have to learn the hard way, and imperil the entire planet before they wise up.

Both candidates had red f**gs and flashing warning lights. You just naively fell in line for the one that lost.

I know adult conversation, intelligent communication, is foreign to you and probably beyond your understanding, but diplomacy lasted decades since WW II and we never went to war with Russia, for example, and we had discussions and treaties and agreements that served both sides peacefully.

Yes, and 10 million people were exterminated in Russia during the peace. Seems to have worked out peacefully for them!?

Colebrook used to own a triplex in Califronia where she rented out two units. Her lender was purchased by OneWest in 2009. By that time, she had an interest-only loan and was dealing with revenue issues on her property as tenants were caught up in the economic downturn.

Sounds like the economic downturn caused her problems. But how can that be since our current POTUS created so many jobs, and decreased unemployment over the last 8 years?

Did you forget? This must be Bush's fault! All problems during the Obama Administration are either the fault of the last President, or the next one who hasn't taken office yet.

Since China is the largest country in the world as far as population goes, and is our main competitor in power in the world, it seems elegant to get along with her in order to address inevitable problems that arise--and they do arise.

That's called being an adult and trying to work constructively.

Diplomacy exists in order for nations of the world to address their own meaningful issues and resolve tensions as much as possible by mature discussion, cooperation, and adult-like insight.

The only other possibility is going to war regularly, which is sometimes inconvenient.

In China's eyes, Taiwan is a bunch of rebels, and a good ole Republican decided we need to be able to talk to China without going to war every six months or year; that good ole' boy was Richard Nixon.

The issue is so delicate that the US Government doesn't say "the government of Taiwan," but says "the government on Taiwan" in consideration that this is easier than warfare.

It doesn't have the simplicity of a Donald Trump, but it does reduce casualities and occasionally solves an issue between us.

I know you must prefer sending our children to war annually, which is why You aren't President, but normal people, thinking people, think this is preferable to the other option.

This idea excepts Donald Trump, who is unaware that communication and t***hfulness and adult behavior sometimes is preferable to war.

I like your "bowing down" to totalitarian dictators strategy. Perhaps we should have followed that policy with Germany and Japan in World war II.
