To maintain auto focus on the canon 100-400 lens you must tape the first three pins.this fools the camera in some way. It works but you must use spot focus,shoot at f/8 or higher and have good light. The converter has been sold. Here is a image taken with the 1.4 converter.

Yes it is a small park in the city of York. Kawanis Lake. They are there from may thru june. Also Black Crowned night are nesting there at the same time.
