Nice shot, hard to catch one at a flower. They flit about so much!๐
Nice shot! One of my favorite shoreline parks above and below the water. Its a great dive spot too but only when itโs calm.
Excellent! I like #5 the best too.
Nice shot! Hope theyโre bombing run was off target ๐
I set up the back focus button on my Canon T6i about a year ago. When I get a focus on my subject I take my finger off the button and it stays while I frame and shoot. Its a big advantage shooting a bird or animal in the woods with a long lens, no refocusing on a twig or leaves as I take my shot. Today I was talking shots of a red tail hawk through the canopy with my Sigma 150-600 using the manual focus, if I had used the half way focus I would have ended up with sharp branches.
Nice set and it looks like one more container would send that barge to the bottom!
A little washing and a wax itโll be good as new๐
Great shot ๐ Youโre lucky to get to see the little guy!
Nice shot! I havenโt seen any of them here in CT.
I bought the Sigma 150-600mm last year and have been happy with it. It is a bit heavy on a hike but I hate to leave it home. The autofocus is probably slower and the shots a bit softer than a big white Canon lens would be but at more than double the cost that wasnโt an option for me.
We had a nesting pair of GHOs in the woods behind our house last year. The male would roost in the top of a hemlock tree near the nest and the second shot is one of the two owlets a day or two after fledging.
