You did not offend me.
You offered your work and art freely. Thank you.

Some I found interesting, some not. But none of what I've seen deserved the vitriol and mean mouthing I've observed. To couple that with lack of constructive criticism (labeling something as "pornography" is neither constructive nor explanatory) in a forum intended for such is just pure asshattery Imo.

I am not civil with those that harbor no civility within themselves. When I hear/see b.s. being flung about I tend to call it out.

It astounds me how many have come to bash you and you post(s). No dissection of your technique(s) or style(s) just unadulterated bashing and complaining about something they are not required to peruse.

Clearly you have more patience with the willfully ignorant/indignant than I; to quote Popeye, "I am what I am and that's all I am".

And yet you spent the time to look, read, react and post.

Me thinks thou dost protest too much. That, or you're a closer relative of that donkey than appears.

Yes, it does. What doesn't make sense is returning to view the output of an artist you don't think makes art and then bashing them for it and then getting your panties in a wad when others don't agree with you.
Take your own pictures, post 'em, wait for feedback, repeat.
Or don't.
But stop whining about what another photographer posts and move on.

My, My, such arrogance on your part. Are you one of the Grumpy Old Men UHH is so well known for?!
I only get grumpy around those peeing in the Cheerios.

Ive never pretended to be innocent (perhaps not guilty but not innocent). As for my suggestion perhaps not in so many words ...

Apparently it was I who offended you by stating fact.

Might want to check with Webster's on the definitions of scornful and patronizing. There were quite a few posts thanking the OP that, like I, said they registered with Canon. You discounted their abilities and veracity.

If you already received the notice why click the link?
Why comment?
Why the need to be negative? If you already got it let it go, move on, take some images, step away from the computer. Have a nice day. 🙋🏻

So by Day 129 you should already have some idea on whether someone's taste is similar enough like yours to know whether or not you'll like their style and not keep looking at things you consider pornographic.

You seem to have arrived late to the party. This is Day 129, and there are usually multiple images on each day’s post, along with “plenty” of discussion. You might want to do some background research on Tim.

Doesn't sound like much of a photography forum to me but about bashing. If I don't like it, I don't keep looking. Bashing one another contributes nothing to this forum.

We are certainly ENTITLED to our opinions. Whether it makes sense to view a "nudes" or boudoir photo posting forum and complain of "pornography" rather than skip posts by those you feel are pornographic is another matter.
The comment did nothing to help the OP with any perceived technical issue(s) of the images posted. Nor did it express what it was that made the viewer believe that the images deserved to be labeled as pornographic.
If you do not wish to see women, or men for that matter, in various stages of undress why peruse this forum? It's clearly labeled and easy to avoid.
If you do not like the subject(s) or poses chosen by a particular photographer why view their posts?
Just because you don't like something doesn't make it pornographic.

Over the years I've used a couple programs depending on my purpose.
For simple editing, joining, converting or simple DVD creation I've used DVDVideosoft's FreeStudio. It is a collection of stand alone programs. If you purchase/donate you get a code which allows you to edit losslessly. I've used it for at least a decade and highly recommend it if it'll fit your needs. The free version is pretty good and it doesn't cost much to get the "premium" version.
I have also used different versions of Cyberlink's Power Director and recommend it if your needs are more complex/demanding. It is slightly costlier but much more capable.

As for your superiority complex you can gfy. I have registered my cameras and lenses and check my mail several times daily. I might miss an email on occasion but to assume that everyone that did not receive notice falls into one of your condescending boxes is bs on your part.
Much thanks and appreciation to the OP for the heads up.

I would not discount the blank DVDs as a potential source of the problem.

As a live music archivist and trader I've burned many a disc over the years. The vast majority of CDs & DVDs (haven't delved into Blu Ray yet) are very low grade product. I have run into partial and entire spindles that were garbage.

To find out for certain I used a few alternatives:
1. Different burning software.
I had Nero (came bundled), it wasn't reading or writing to disc anymore. Installed ImgBurn (freeware, no spyware but don't accept 3rd party software during install) and same discs burned fine.
2. Different computer.
If different software didn't solve it tried in another computer. If the disc was recognized (read, burned, copied, ...) problem was likely other drive. If not problem likely disc.
3. Different discs.
You need to look up the current media ID codes for the discs you are using. You CANNOT simply go by brand name. With a couple exceptions. The vast majority of discs come from the same plants regardless of what brand name (memorex, Sony, tdk, ...). There is only one, or maybe two, plants that manufacture quality discs for amateur/home use. ImgBurn will tell you what the information is for the disc loaded in the drawer if it can read it. This article talks specifically about DVDs but the same basics apply to CDs too: http://www.digitalfaq.com/reviews/dvd-media.htm

The Tamron 18-400mm f3.5-6.3 Di II VC HLD was the first lens I bought (I don't count the kit lenses that came with the camera) once I decided to get a bit more serious with my digital photography. I wish it had a bit more range in aperture but if I have my Canon EF 50mm f1.8 I can handle the vast majority of situations I find myself in. Not having to carry bags of glass around with me at a conference, convention or event is highly rated in my book (I'll leave the Tamron on the T4i and have to Canon on the T6 in my bag for fast switch or rapidly deploying both cameras for simultaneous shots from different angles).
I've been able to get some pretty interesting shots of Saturn and Jupiter with it among other things.

Now you got me rummaging through my shots. I only made it up for one day this year. The last day.
I'll see what else I captured but here's a few I managed to capture during takeoff for the air show that aren't too badly marred. I was so infuriated when I saw that dust/dirt/hair/whatever had ruined most of that day's shooting.

I realize I am an/the oddball out as I still use a M$-based phone (Lumia 1520, and loving it) but according to Snopes.com that's not exactly the case, Android was the specific OS mentioned.
But you are correct in checking what permissions you are giving to any app/program you are considering installing on your phone/computer. There are many I've bypassed because I could see no reason they needed access to certain info or the ability to use my microphone/camera/video/music/phone dialer/... and have survived just fine without. From Snopes.com:
"On 1 October 2014, cybersecurity company SnoopWall released a “threat assessment report” discussing flashlight apps for Android devices and security threats they may pose." and "the SnoopWall report itself neither stated nor offered evidence that such activity was taking place. That report merely charted the permissions accessed by the top ten Android flashlight apps and offered some tips about “best practices for increasing privacy and security on your device without spending any money.”"

...I will mention that flashlight apps are considered to be a potential security risk and data hog. Before downloading any of them, I'd personally check on CNET or other computer boards to see whether there are known malware or spyware risks associated with any app I download. Phone apps are generally pretty safe, but quite a few suck up your data and memory, and collect information that they send to the app developer. Flashlight apps are notorious for this.
