Thanks so much for the kind comments. Still trying to figure out some sort of style I like with these HDR workings. I’m still in my infancy in working with them but oh, can this be an obsessive part of this hobby. All advice and criticism is appreciated and accepted.

Never played around with a D90. I have used the D7200 and found it to be quite capable. Still, someone thought about putting an article together regarding this subject even before the D7200 came along. Maybe he can help you...

Is it possible that this is a DOV issue? The humming bird looks to be on the far side of the feeder.
Focal length is set at 210mm, Aperture is at 6.3 and shutter speed reads 400 with an iso of 100...
...with the cropped sensor you would hope that 6.3 might be small enough but, maybe not?
It could it be as simple as going to a smaller aperture? That would improve your depth of view. At iso 100 you have room to bump up which would allow for a faster shutter speed.
