Will be taking a cruise from Santiago, Chile to Buenos Aires. Will go thru the Straits of Magellan and around Cape Horn. For those times I am ashore (for anyone who has taken this trip) is a tripod recommended. Any tips or recommendations are welcome.
Thanks
I had an IT company with a retail store. Sold both brands and both were very reliable, and very few were brought back in for performance or mechanical issues. My recommendation is you can't go wrong with either one.
Hi All,
Going on a cruise with stops in Rome, the Greek Islands and Turkey. Plan on taking a 16-35mm and 28-300mm lens and a Circ Polarizer filter. I've nixed a tripod.
To anybody that has been there your recommendations/comments would be much appreciated
My Bad! I am sorry, My first time and I did not read the " Store Original" instructions.
Hello All, Just thought I would like to share this and get your comments but more especially your critique. I don't shoot as much as I should, but will be doing more, as I am relatively new at this.

Thank you for the feedback, very much appreciated. Looking forward to the photo opps, and the experience, I have not heard a negative review on Morocco.
Street and Landscape. I have a great MeFoto travel tripod, but based on what seems a majority consensus I might ditch the idea of taking it.
Thanks to all for your comments.
Helpful comments people - appreciated. The only reason I was contemplating the tripod, is I want to do HDR.
Thanks for the feedback, my wife and myself will be on an organized tour - no free wheeling run a bouts, so from all I have researched and reviews they are very positive of Morocco. The reason I was thinking tripod was sunsets, especially on a Sahara desert side tour for experiencing a desert sunset.
Hi All,
Will be going to Morocco in Feb. Taking my Nikon D-610 with 16-35mm and 28-300mm Nikon lenses. Would taking a travel tripod be a good idea? comments on the lens selection and any recommendations welcome.
