Little Stella the miniature schnauzer adores her big friend from down the street, Cherie Rose, the golden lab. Stella weighs about 7 lbs., and Cherie tips the scales at 90+. But they are the best of friends!

No, I didn't know. You said "this photo", not my photo.
Congratulations! I think it is awesome.
Thank you. Very sorry if I misconstrued your comment.

Definitely worth the win. Is it yours?
I assume you're being facetious.
Of course it's mine! Who else's would it be? I stood out in sub-freezing temperatures overnight on 4/15/2014 to take these time-lapse shots.
This photo of the Lunar Eclipse of 4/15/2014 won First Place in its category at the New Mexico State Fair photography exhibit. There were over 600 entries in six categories.
I like #4 best. The brightness of the sun is distracting in #1, and it's not clear whether the sunset or the spider is the subject.
Here's a shot at improvement. Others could probably do better. You have a winner there!
This is an absolutely awesome shot, and can be made saleable with a little PP. First, adjust the color. Way too red all over. Bring up the brightness. That's for starters. Some judicious cropping could work wonders too. That way the moon could be along a 1/3 line on the left side, if you want to adhere to the Rule of Thirds. Whatever you do, don't delete this photo! Wish it was mine!! The focus is somewhat soft, and could be improved using Topaz plug ins (In-Focus and De-Noise) if you have them. Someone on this forum could work on it for you, I'm sure. Just ask.
"This moon is heavy. Don't know how much longer I can hold this thing up." My sister posed against a dusky sky and full moon.
Stella the miniature schnauzer puppy is this week's winner in the "Pet of the Week" contest held by the Albuquerque Journal newspaper. This appeared this morning (Friday, 8/8/2014). It was a nice surprise to open the paper and find her picture; the newspaper doesn't give advance notification of publication.
Nice! Something new to try. Who knows? You may be the inspiration for a great work of art!
Awesome to get these shots in the daytime! Great job!
Simply awesome! Did you use a Strike Finder, or do it the old fashioned way - click and hold and hope you get something?
