Selling my Nikon AF-S 14-24mm f/2.8 G ED lens. I've replaced it with the Nikkor Z 14-30mm f/4. This lens works as expected and has no scratches on the glass, dirt, mold, or fungus in the barrel. It's built like a tank and takes beautiful pictures. I have the Lens caps for front and rear but no box. MPB sells this in excellent condition for $899. KEH sells it in EX condition for $949. My sale price is $775 and that includes insured shipping via USPS. If you are looking for a superb ultra wide angle for Nikon F mount, this is the lens. PM me if you are interested.

For sale, an arca compatible L bracket for a FujiFilm X-T3. The bracket maintains camera port and battery access and also does not block the tilting and rotation of the LCD screen. B&H sells it new for $49.95. My price is $25 and includes shipping. I sold my X-T3 and it won't fit on an X-T4. Please pm if you are interested.

For sale - my Fringer NF-FX Smart Adapter. I used it to attach my Nikon telephoto lenses to My Fujifilm X-T4. The adapter supports aperture control, auto focus, and EXIF recording. I just sold all of my Fuji gear so I no longer need this device. It is updated with the latest firmware - 1.6. New it sells for $329. Yours for $225 including Paypal fee (if any) and insured shipping. I accept Zelle, Paypal, or check. The check must clear prior to my shipping. Please PM me if interested. I will respond to the PM's in the order I receive them.

If by Z camera you mean the Z7 ii, I recommend that you don't do it. I just bought one for landscape photography and love the output. I put my 300mm PF and 500mm PF on it for BIF and wildlife and the focus on moving animals is terrible. I will admit that I have not used it long enough to understand all of the features but when it comes to wildlife I'll stick with my trusty D500.

I do think the problem is with the camera but I doubt that you can get it to repeat. Thus sending it to Nikon may not fix it.

The support at B&H, where I bought the camera, thinks so too. I sent the image to Nikon so will see what they think. My instructions from B&H are to go shoot the heck out of that combo and see if I can get it to happen again. At least I still have 21 days for a return or exchange.

You seem to have an answer to every possibility of human failure. I would then send the image to Nikon and ask them.

Thanks - I did.

Still it is the effect of motion: either the bird feeder or you or a combination of both. I has to be a very minimal movement to give this.

I could understand if it were just the feeder. But the metal pole that holds the feeder bends at the same location too. I can guarantee that the metal pole was not moving...

#1 hand held or on a tripod?

Hand held but my hands were resting on a Gazebo shelf.

Was the wind blowing causing the bird feeder to move? (what was your shutter speed?) Maybe a software glitch with your camera or more probabal post software with a super large crop-in for the missing pixels.

There was very little wind. These feeders are surrounded by trees and vegetation so they are in a protected spot. My shutter speed was 2500 (catching some BIF) and no crop. That is the full picture. I was in DX mode.
