Well, please be aware that the 'ignore' feature has been disabled a long time ago.

Thank you for the update, I wasn't aware of that, perhaps the shadowy moderators ought to reinstate or remove it?

Perhaps I didn't explain clearly enough for you, in which case I am truly sorry.

I'm not talking about the 'UNWATCH' option at the top of the tread, but referring to the facility detailed below:

Click on the Users name you don't like, to see their profile.
On that screen select the option button "Add To Ignore List."

So now you won't have to see any of that Users posts.

Love and Kindness.

How is that answer "take your own advice" 'rude'?

Perhaps you can explain the meaning of your reply then because I don't understand it?
I merely gave you some straightforward advice on how to not see a posters work that you don't like, and you tell me to 'take my own advice?' How is your reply not rude or abusive?

Because you are the one who doesn't want to see them not me.

Now you are just being downright rude. I said nothing critical or abusive, merely indicating that as you don't want to see Jim's pictures, that UHH gives you a good option that is easy to select.

I'm sorry you feel the need to reply in that tone.

Dear Rongnongno,
There's also the UHH option of the IGNORE button, perhaps you should select that for the posters you don't like?
I like Jim's pictures and his journey through the colourisation process, long may he continue.

I like your pictures in black and white, colourisation is just an unexpected bonus.
I've tried a couple of programs, even bought one or two but none give me decent results with a minimum of work. One day...
Your pictures reflect a period of time that may not be repeated, and I enjoy them for that.

I agree and maybe we need to change the definition of photography to Strait Out Of Camera images only all others are "______"?

Err, throughout history photographers have manipulated pictures, guess there are very few that are actually 'straight out of camera?'

The program has missed a bit of the models right hand glove at the elbow end...
But I wonder why you are reticent to name the program?

The "noise" is just a post processing layer I added to give the image an old, grungy, semi-damaged by time feel for the image. Maybe it is "too" much, but I don't mind it.

Thanks everyone for the comments and feedback.

look it's your pic, so if you're happy with the effect then there's no complaint from me...

I like the picture and it's soft 'un-focused' feel but there are areas of 'noise' (top left and top right) that diminish the quality of the picture for me.
Well done though, much better then anything I could achieve!
