Indeed a good pic. Especially good use of B&W. Having planted an olive tree 3 years ago, I am curious as to what the diameter of that tree was? Would appreciate your time in telling us...
I certainly am a old B&W photographer/appreciator. I did almost the same as Dr. Nikon to your very good photo. The camera you used had no problem capturing the range of tonality...Nice subject and composition as well..
In Naval Photography circles, in the 50's or so, we would define your term "tack sharp" as "sharp as a Gnat's ass"..Wonder why?
Sure Thing..It can fix willfulness too, as I learned in Boot Camp in '57
When they say, "big as a battleship"..this is what they mean. She was part of a great family of ships...
Looks like the bridge to vertigo to me...Interesting curves and angles.
Thank you for the heads up that Forrestal gear is at the museum. Seems strange. Wonder what those could be? I have been meaning to go forever to the museum. On Forrestal in '59, I was an 19 yr old airedale PH2 with crew wings. Prime target to get sent to Nam and wear Marine green...
Merry Christmas shipmate. Was photo mate on Forrestal 57-61. Shame we couldn't save her...
Do they represent the "Three Graces" ?
What would your boxer think if he was there? Sure miss mine...
I never saw that view at Yosemite. Takes me back anyway..Good shot
Looks like the best of both dog worlds...
Shot "the steps", with my Rolliflex, in '57 for B&W. Shot from other direction. Like my shot and really like yours..
R-E-S-P-E-C-T .. one Vet to another...
