I have a friend, who's favorite subject
is doors... and arches
She shoots them from all over Europe, Mexico,
and South America, Alaska, the Old West...
So many, that I just let her shoot them...
And she's good with them...
So, I just don't shoot them much...

I have an old and favourite slide which is too far gone to resurrect for display. I so well remember the chilly winter morning when a sunbeam lit up the old town of Enniskillen in N. Ireland, rising phoenix-like from the mist.
Danersmiff (P12) gave me the idea to see what filters might produce in overlooking the blemishes but preserving the memory. Here are three filtered treatments from Photoshop, but you will require your eye of faith to imagine the reality.
thanks for the hat tip, but in the vein of William and Simon, as well.... don't stop there !! Remember, it's digital-- it's free !! (freedom)...

Danersmiff's "Cold and foggy", P 12, reminded me of this spoiled (dust and scratches) and now over-PP'd old shot of Old Faithful.

Busy caught me again...
but I stole some time this morning while
the windows are cracked open,
and the robins are singing, and a couple
other birds are chirping and whistling in the
twilight before the dawn... quite peaceful..
sniffing the aromas of the black steamy coffee
before I have some.... brew baby brew...
One of the other things that had Sue and I busy, last fall... we put some bulbs in the ground...
We added some Daffodils to our steps, and mixed every other step with a Tulip....
Sue has had Tulips before, but these are my first ever...
so watching them come up, is a little extra special, to me....
I wouldn't have included the dandy,
but a bee was beggin me to snap a shot...
feels good to have the camera in my hand again !!
Happy Easter Everyone !!
