Not sure it is the cell phone or still the TV. Probably a toss up.

Then of course, there are those folks who text and surf while watching tv!

I wonder if the same would be true if you were to take a photo of Edinburgh's Royal Mile today? I would bet not but your point is taken. So much has changed since 2010. Some things have changed for the good, but some changes have not been so great. Just like any other period in Earth's history.

Not only does everyone have their noses buried in cell phones but I've seen tourists holding up Kindles and tablets and taking pictures with them - it's totally ridiculous!! Here's an example of people more interested in their cell phones than the classical artwork surrounding them - sheesh!!

I forgot to mention, I’m 75, and I have never had a cell phone. Have never seen the need. And I’m probably the last with a land line. My phone is to make and receive calls.

I'm with ya! There is no cell phone service where we live so we rely on the old-fashioned land line. We do have a track phone to use in the car but it is so very freeing not to be constantly looking at a cell phone. I took a picture back in 2010 showing people walking up Edinburgh's Royal Mile with not one cell phone in sight - they were actually smiling and talking to one-another!!

I've always wondered about the Irish butter but never tried it because it's typically 50% higher than regular butter. It occurred to me that butter is butter and it's probably not worth it. Now that you've said you can tell the difference, i might give it a try.

Do you use it all the time or only on special things like scones or home-made soda bread.

Do a taste comparison between Kerry Gold and regular supermarket butter - Kerry Gold wins every time! Costco's Kirkland brand of grass-fed butter from New Zealand is another excellent butter - very similar to Kerry Gold and significantly less expensive.

When I want to use the best butter I go for Irish Gold. It is pricy compared to store-brand butter but I can tell the difference so I hope those who are served in my home will enjoy the difference.

Kerry Gold! Great butter and it's all I use when making shortbread cookies - I've been told they are better than Walker's!

Last Friday the homeschool group my grandkids belong to held its Spring Fling dance which was also the first one Lydia has been old enough to attend so of course, I did a quick photoshoot before she and her brothers departed for the festivities. Needless to say, they all had a great time, getting home around midnight!!
