I prefer to keep up with modern times and blame someone else, like the chair manufacturing not being up to the standards it used to be.

I chuckle quite a bit at items posted here but that is a funny post. One of the few that actually made me laugh out loud. Thanks Sarge69

I only skimmed through all this, quite humorous at times with the guesses and response, but before I search for the answer, I have to say that my first guess after seeing the hints was that it was Madge(?)the nail salon. Palmolive dish soap hawker from the 70's.

First of all I think he should have been home in bed at 3AM.
Then he would have not got into trouble.

Tha t was my first thought too Dusty. Bored at 3 am? try sleeping for a while.
My other concern until viewing the linked article was that there would be some profiling taking place, Thank goodness he was a clean shaven young white male.

I think it's a disgrace that we have as many working poor as we do. The minimum wage should be at least $12 an hour, and indexed to inflation. Keeping people off welfare and off Medicare and off food stamps should be the number two priority in this country, right behind full employment. Watch how fast our deficit goes away if we drastically reduce the number of people on entitlement programs. Eliminate the need for unemployment insurance, for food stamps and Medicare, and watch this country soar. Just imagine being able to take all those dollars and rebuild our long-neglected infrastructure.

The only problem with a $12.00 hr minimum wage is that everything will then be increased in price accordingly and these people would still be working poor, unable to afford the same things they cant afford now. This in part due to the fact that if you raise the minumum wage, those already working above that wage will want/need the same type of increase to maintain their lifestyle.
lets face it there are certain jobs that will never pay alot and those that work at them are there for several reasons; education, skill level and motivation to succeed among them. They are the reasons that many programs do exist. for those who do work and still have a need to be assited by gov't programs, I have no problem.

The void is where thaose who don't work, dont want to work and only want gavernment handouts. There have been numerous accounts of people bilking the workers comp and disability systems, and nobody does anything about it. Probably because the cost of persuing them and fighting them in court to get back money fraudulently obtained would be greater than just paying them.
The only real way to break this is to keep accountability records on those who receive, and they need to show valid attempts to improve and move upward.

Let us know if they all show up. It would be a surprise to all who read about the passing of Davey Jones. Very nice scene shot though.
