The last one is my favorite.

I won't let anything happen to my best friend.

Whoever finds it first, gets gets a cookie.

I promise! It won't happen again.

Continuation of my previous topic "Alaska: Bald eagle portraits".

You just keep out-doing yourself. These are wonderful!!!

Ivan, These are fantastic. I'm amazed at the expression from this majestic bird. He seems to be saying alot.

"I'm the Boss", "This is my backyard. No tresspassing" and of course "Don't get me riled up!"

Very nice shots. Great color and sharpness. Being a native Californian that now resides in Florida, I miss Yosemite. In the mid sixties I shot my nephew's wedding that took place in that little red church. I still have a few pics of Yosemite shot with an Asahi Pentax.

Few people realize it but Florida has "Beavers" really big "Beavers". I don't know if this guy was watching the birds building nests and wanted to get in on the action or what. But he was tearing this tree up. He kept it up most of the morning. Not building anything special so I guess he isn't a true "Beaver" but he was sure breaking up the tree limbs.

Interesting Florida Beaver. Have you seen the Florida Hummingbird.

Found this one resting.

You gotta love the custom paint job. The air brushing really brings out that beautiful rust color.

Triple nice. # three is great without some of the color.

WOW! So much ice on the foliage, it makes it difficult to get a sharp picture. I think I will move to Orlando if that weather becomes a habit. At least it helps keep the skeeters down. Things are pretty slow in Titusville.

Could write a book from this photo. Love the composition. It brings out my patriotic side.

Something I have noticed with you, Alaskan and Irrigator, not only are your photos expertly done but the knowledge that each has about your subject is amazing.

Very nice. I love watching these birds fish. You can only imagine how fast they go underwater and how sharp their beaks are. Sometimes when they come up, I see their beaks half way through the fish!

Sometimes if the water is fairly clear I can see them swimming under the water and then when I see a sudden flash of silver I know they have just caught a fish and I know to get ready for the photos as they will be coming up with the fish speared on their bill.
Something I have noticed with you, Alaskan and Irr... (show quote)

I sure agree with that. Truely, there are "benchmark" photographers" on display here. If only I would have rekindled my photography hobby prior to 2009. Looks like I'll never catch up with digital, but having fun none the less.

All four are wonderful. What fun to have this guy hanging around you. the 4th shot makes my eyes crazy. I kept seeing the "circle" and missed the bird!

I belong to a small group of pretty seious photographers and this guy is one of their favorites. He always produces good times for everyone. He has about three areas where he hangs out and we can just about always find him in the early morning or late afternoon. Old Dependable.

This forum is so lucky to have you grace us with your pictures. Hope you continue with your posts.

Love the shots. Sharp focus and nice exposure. Those Tree Huggers move so fast. I see your camera setting anticipated the possibility. Here is one of mine from Lake Tahoe. My name tells the story. A little too much Jack in the back.

Happen to attend an antique car show recently, here are few shots.

Enjoy!

As always C&C are welcome.

Nice shots. Car shows are so full of "Bling". What pp did you use. The color and saturation are up there. I like it a bunch.

On a recent drive along the Columbia Gorge to Portland I took these photos of Mt. Hood from the moving car. It is sometimes very difficult to get my husband to stop for photos!!

Mount Hood looks quite different from the east side. I usually viewed it from the west on the way to Timberline and Mt. Hood Meadows.

Nice shots. It's a challenge to get crisp shots under those conditions. Haze always gets in my pictures.

I love this picture. Memories seem to be jumping out the scene. When I see an old barn fighting for it's existence, I imagine it holds so much history and memories inside the doors.
