To counter the posting I made of my old tag sale photo of an unknown Texan pioneer couples with a white background, the attached have a gray background and some degree of Sepia. I was having some frustration with the Sepia until my slow thinking realized I was in Grayscale instead of obviously RGB mode. As the advanced UHH members will agree, none of the edits qualify as professional work; however, I did learn from your challenges.
Probably a major non-issue for most serious UHH keyboard users but here is my question: I had to replace my older Logi keyboard with a new Logi MK 670 Combo keyboard. The older keyboard had a Screen Copy key. I used the key—only for my personal use for many of my routine saves of editorial, cartoons, photos, political cartoons, etc. At any rate, there is no Screen Copy key on the new keyboard. I have learned to click the FN key with the F7 and do a routine sequence from several of the resulting choices. And I do not want to copy an app from an unknown. Does any UHH know how to customize the keyboard so I can just use one key for a Screen Copy? If not, I will continue my use of the FN and F7 keys process.
chrisg-optical, Great suggestions on the scanning. Again, many members of UHH foster some great recommendations.
terryMc, A major well done on your scans and alignments.
terryMc, You and I can totally agree with your comment. Thanks.
terryMc, I am constantly having to drink more coffee trying to keep up with the updates in PhotoShop. I try and not to use any advice given by any YouTube video that is over two years old. I also have learned to be careful to check that the video is not designed strictly for LightRoom or Apple. It is all I can do to remain current with PhotoShop PC.
RickL, Thanks for your kind review.
MJPerini, Thanks for the excellent reference book. Also, like your suggestions on using a mirror to properly center on a photo. In your advice you have supplied many pointers to interested UHH members.
RickL, Thanks for your encouragement.
Don, the 2nd son, Thanks for your advice. I will try and determine some way to gray the background.
CaltechNerd, You are in the minority in liking the edited photos. Thanks for your review.
terryMc, The photos are too large for me to scan. I like your idea for the background.
MJPerini, All your suggestions are helpful. I will spend some more time on the photos.
JohnSwanda, I appreciate your review and suggestion.
bsprague, Thanks for your suggestion on the background.
