I think it looks like a Caspian tern, but great shot! Especially in flight! Those night herons do fly, but are bulkier.

Thanks, Nalu! I love the A1. The 200-600 is a bit heavy for me, but I use it occasionally. These were shot with the 100-400…..and it is a fabulous lens.
