It is a shame that it often takes a tragedy to appreciate them properly. Thanks for the complement.

Very nice work! Looks like you spent some time in Dead Horse Point.

I hope to go back in the next few weeks. I missed so much.

Just think if we could know what was happening on Earth for each of those layers in the rocks.

It would sure be a long read.

Due to a recent loss I have been reminded how precious friends and family are. I have traveled almost 8000 miles the last nine weeks mostly to spend time with those most important to me. Passing through Moab this past week I stopped for a few days to shoot a few images. I would like to share a few with you.

Last August I ask the question "Where is landscape photography going?" I have been playing around with Adobe Fire Fly since then, and I guess I am still wondering what kind of dent it will make for Pro Photographers. I am not a Pro, but still curious. I have a "art photo" I just did of a dog that looks pretty remarkable, not because I did it, but for the fact that it is computer generated. Anyone have any thoughts on AI?

My humble take is that this is a wonderful rendition of a beautiful animal. With proper attribution I have no problem enjoying outstanding art like this. It is not currently my cup of tea but I can't deny it has an attraction for me.
