My comments support your observation .... but apply to Sony PERIOD ... on getting service after the product is sold to you. Nine years ago I bought a Sony 52" aTV .... it worked about 5 months and then had a problem .... back then they pointed me to a local TV shop which they had for an authorized Sony TV repair center ..... that guy came out .... found the problem was the main circuit board ... put to TV back on its mounting surface and went back to the shop with the defective board .... about 5 days later he came back and installed it ... and it worked great for another 7 years ..... then another problem and I called the same local guy and he said that Sony pulled their Authorized Dealership from him .... and he told me that it would be better to get a new TV .... I researched it and instead of going to Best Buy or CostCo ..... I went on line to Sony's site and found the 55" model I wanted ..... and called Sony and bought it ..... a few days later, their truck from Las Vegas stopped and delivered and installed the TV ..... GREAT .... but a month later .... s problem .... a vertical 1" line went flown the screen from top to bittom about 20% from the right side .... so I called the old local Sony rep and he said he can't do it and to call Sony ..... in the next week or 2 .... I bet I made nearly 30 phone calls to them and nothing happened until I found their repair center (in Texas I think) .... then a couple of days later the same unmarked Sony delivery truck stopped at the house ..... and took the old TV and installed another new TV .... Sony's after sale support was terrible ..... I really like their TV's .... but if I ever buy another one, I'll buy it from a store with their own repair service. Good luck with your camera.

It was one of the guys who were part of John Jacob Astor's Astorians who were establishing an overland route to the Pacific who named the Tetons .... that group didn't discover them ... but it was one of them who named them.

Another thought is to go down Henry's Fork of the Snake River .... with a river guide .... this is a float down the river ... very scenic ... get a fishing license .... you may catch some nice German Brown and Rainbow Trout. This is about a 45 minute drive NE of Rexburg, Idaho ... SW of Yellowstone.

You said you could not pair the mouse to the computer .... Bob (above) stated he has a Logitech Mouse and Keyboard .....I do too ... it has been working great for 6.5 years. Mine has a tiny receiver which plugs into the laptop's USB port ...... the Logitech system pairs to the computer through this device .... you did not mention this small device .... it would be easy to miss in the packaging if you did not understand how this works. In my den, I have a pull out surface to put the keyboard and mouse on ..... and the computer is a HP Envy 17" and have a 23" monitor on each side of the laptop screen ... for triple screens .... it is great for photography use, genealogy, etc.

You want to quantify the color of light your subject is being illuminated by ..... thus stand where the subject is and do the Expodisc calibration pointing the Expodisc covered lens and camera towards the source of lighting your subject is in (after setting your camera to take this white balance light calibration shot) and click the shutter .... and also (in the case of my Nikon D7100) if it did not get a good calibration , the message on the LCD screen will say No Good .... flashing it at you and if it got it... it will flash GOOD .... several times. Then take the Expodisc off and take the shot. At least that is the procedure I have done for at least 12 years .... note that it is not perfect .... but better than being without it.

I have used an Expodisc for at least 12 years ..... before I bought it .... I was using my first DSLR camera (Nikon D70)..... before it, I was not happy with the color of the photos, in spite of all the settings on the camera .... I am a retired Aeronautical Engineer and had to be a perfectionist and brought that thinking home and drove my wife and children up a wall (grin)... I saw the ad on the Expodisc and was at the local camera shop (Campus Camera, Kent, Ohio) .... and they had the Expodisc in stock .... I bought it and have been very happy since. I point it at the light source ulluminating the subject. We lived in NE Ohio ... on 5 acres ... half was wooded with maple trees .... part of the time I shot in shade ... no direct sun .... so the light was filtered thru green leaves and also a lot of blue sky on the side .... and no direct sun ..... and the color accuracy of the photos were exact to what I wanted .... I had gotten tired to color correcting my photos with the old Photoshop. I didn't use the Expodisc for all of my shots ... but I would guess 80% of the shots. And over the years moved the camera to a D7100.

I am not doing 3D rendering or gaming ..... I don't know what kind of graphics card it has either .... I was happy with the performance of the old laptop ..... but was concerned about reliability of the mechanical drive after 6 years of use. What I bought is a current version of what I had .... with state of the art technology and a 1 TB SSD .... I would suggest you get that Intel drive installed into whatever computer system you want. That drive is excellent. Good luck to you. I used to fly airplanes a long time ago and also flew with engineering test pilots in experimental aircraft too .... and have had 6 partial or complete engine failures .... either with me flying or flying with test pilots .... and other things failing too ..... thus long term reliability has had major meaning to me.

I am a retired Aeronautical Engineer who loves photography since I was a kid .... 2 of our adult kids with their families live a day's drive away ... so when buying a new computer 6 years ago, our son (an I.T. Guy at a college) suggested I should order the highest end computer HP makes and make it a laptop so I could grab and go when we went to their homes in Idaho and Mesa, AZ..... so I called HP and ordered a HP Envy 17" ....with an Intel 800 GB Hybrid drive .... Drive C having 160 GB SSD (Solid State Drive .... and after 6 years only about 130 GB was useable and had only 6 GB free (lots of programs are on it). And a 640 GB mechanical drive which was half full after six years. I bought 2 - 23" Asus monitors back then with one on each side of the computer ....(Mistake ... they should have been HP ... because their color with photos does not match the HP Envy Laptop ..... close ... but not a match ... and with custom cabinetry in the den .... there is a pull out tray for a Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse ..... the system worked great for me for a bit over six years ..... and used nearly daily.
But a few months ago, I was getting concerened about possible hard drive failure in the Intel Hybrid Drive. I called our son and he agreed and suggested I get a new one .... and he also thought that Intel now has a 1 TB SSD .... Hmmmm .... I went to Intel's web site ....and found their customer support number .... and called them ..... yes they do have one and the guy gave me their part number .....!i then found it on Intel's web site ..... and their Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) is 1.6 million hours ..... sooooo .... running 24/7 ... that is 180 years .... I then plugged that P/N into Amazon's site and the price was about $300.... I printed that page and took it into Best Buy and their sales guy checked and found they have it in a warehouse .... and in front of me is the current model of the HP Envy 17"!with the latest Intel i7 chip plus other nice attributes .... Best Buy did price matching to the Amazon sheet for the 1 TB SSD .... there was a sale going on with the Envy with its 1 TB HD ... and their Geek Squad would remove the 1 TB HD and install the 1 TB SSD and put a partition in the new drive (Drives C where my programs would be and Drive D for the data) and copy over the stuff from the old laptop to the new one for $100 ..... and for $30 for an external case for the 1 TB HD for a backup drive.
I had to re-install all my programs .... they would not copy over and work correctly from the old Windows 7 machine to the new Windows 10 machine. But that was okay.
This new computer is fast .... and there is no cooling fan like the old computer .... it doesn't even get warm .... amazing how things change in 6 years. The 3 screens are great .... good luck to all of you out there. And please excuse any typo's.
