Don't feel bad. When I bought my Leica S2-P, the salesman told me that it would take pictures of women with their clothes off. It never happened so I returned it. I then bought a Sony. That did the trick!

I have a second camera that actually does infrared.
It doesn't work as well as Tequila for making women's clothes fall off.

I've been to The Myrtles Plantation a number of times and don't remember ever catching a "ghost" or anything unexplained on camera. I actually got tired of going there.

I have not seen any road built in this silt and marsh land that created Louisiana between the Mississippi and Sabine.

I bought the d3200 with the carry case & 2 kit lenses in the $500 range (don't remember exact amount)

Feel free to check out pics I've posted.
Note: The Hall Of Columns pic was taken with a Sony.

I thought it might have been swamp gas or maybe a rogarou.

I seem to see many more accidents on I-10 above Henderson Swamp than the raised stretch between Hammond and New Orleans.

It's just a guess on my part !

...was just curious to see if I had any nearby neighbors on here.

Trying to find a house I can afford in Breaux Bridge or Morgan City/Berwick area.
Got to get away from all this d**** traffic around Baton Rouge/Denham Springs/ Walker. Crime seems to be worse, too.

After Hurricane Katrina and a couple of others, I think half of south Louisiana moved up here.

I'm waiting for the day I won't have to come back across Henderson Swamp to come home.
Not sure why people seem to really get stupid on that stretch of Interstate 10.
If there is a wreck you have no place to go unless you are at the Whiskey Bay or Butte LaRose exit.

Nice image, hotshot1!

Thank you..
I'm currently looking for a house that I can afford, either in Breaux Bridge or the Morgan City/ Berwick area.
I could easily spend my time on either side of the river near the bridges.

I was standing on the river wall/seawall when I made the shot.

Don't want to start discussion but I will post a pic from offshore oilfield country that stood for a number of years but has since been taken down.

I guess the closest thing I've seen on the street looked like Bigfoot's cousin. It was a pickup (Older Chevy or GMC I think) with Cherry Picker size tires and it could actually spin them.

I've been looking for unusual shots.
This one is probably one of my best for unusual.

Something I never noticed by myself until I saw this on a large flat screen, there looks like some alligator eyes about half way out.

Thank you very much.

Every time I passed that building I would think " That might make a good shot"
So far, I like that lens, too.

Weird prospective ? I was just standing in the middle of the parking lot when I snapped the pic.
