Jerry you live in the wrong neighborhood, in my neck of the woods the world is still a beautiful place. Don't be so negative! I'm sitting on my patio drinking coffee admiring nature and it's beautiful wildlife. The trees are as green and the flowers as beautiful as they were 60 years ago when I was just a lad! Get out and drive in the country, It will take more than rich greedy people to destroy Gods beautiful planet!

Enjoy your bubble while you believe you still have it. Meanwhile the festering continues.............

had a tour of the Traverse City mental hospital, closed down in 1989...it was a huge layout, almost totally self sufficient, raising their own livestock, fruit, vegetables,...doing everything they could on site....and giving the patients jobs, to give them a purpose in life. They found they had some very talented people there, who might have just a slight glitch in their makeup! Some of the buildings have been restored, and house offices, shops, and condos, and some still under restoration! Very interesting!

Number 3 with its long hallway and many doors is the stuff of nightmares. While I appreciate your "framework" in all shots, #3 stirs the dark side of the mind. Great job!

I plan to reach out on Facebook for some TFP (Time For Print) female model candidates. I want to build a portrait/modeling website of selected images with some local parks as the setting.

Am I asking directly or indirectly for trouble if I include in the solicitation that I am looking for THIN OR VERY SLENDER females having LITTLE OR VISIBLE NO BODY ART with a preference for long hair?

Have any of you gone the TFP route to model searches? If so, any constructive suggestions or pitfalls?

Thanks in advance.......

I think you need a hug!

Photography is far from pointless and it is certainly appreciated, and the very reason for this site and comments. I could perhaps agree that family portraiture is valued only by the family itself.

I am 66 and still relish learning and that next shot that has been missed by others

They should have such a test for starting and stopping urination. They would REALLY be a great age test!

I too like #6 and found myself squinting to locate a body part in shadows at edge of water. Weird but unavoidable for me. Nice shots and great area and season for moody BW's.

Wow a great pic and a flood of memories from someone who had the same Vette in the same color. Aside from the poor fit and finish both inside and out, anemic horsepower (185?), and trouble with the rear end, it was a beautiful car in that color and with the buck skin leather.

Kind of like a pretty woman with a too short skirt -- you could just stare and admire for hours...........

Baseball is a horrible waste of a perfectly good ball of string. Sorry but I just can't get enthused about a group of millionaires spitting and running in circles. Ill stick to college football.

Wow, truly one of the best b&w pics I've seen and instantly conveys a mood! Super job and wish I could claim credit for it.

Conversely, a photo isolates subject matter and forces you to deal momentarily with what you see. Reality on the other hand allows you to simply turn your head if you wish. That is the power of photography. It cannot be ignored or so easily twisted as can reality.

While the interpretation above may seem silly, I believe it is the reason why our brains smile each time the shutter sounds........
