It can be tricky to "paint" as it doesn't always work well and you have to be selective in deciding what to use and what not to. But it's a lot of fun although it can be frustrating at times. I had to learn by trial & error...

I used the free download program, "Picasa." It has a filter called "Pencil Sketch" that makes the photo look like a pencil sketch. Then I tinted using another filter and then used a filter which kept the pink color and left the rest in black and white. Many times I cannot even remember how I did it and can't for the life of me duplicate.
