thanks for the compliments on "Twilight." Actually, it was taken during the day with the sun behind the lamp and I edited later...

Excellent color choice for a could be world. Art is all about line design and balance and you have achieved what could be used as a National Flag for a could be country.

thanks, I'm glad you see the humor in it...

Since this is posted in the photo gallery. What is it a photo of?

I know it's not a photo but it was accomplished using a photo editing program (IrfanView) so I hope people don't mind if I post it...

Bruce MG, what process did you use to replace colors in this and your beach photo.

I used a free download program, "IrfanView." You can "paint" with it and many other things. It can be tricky to "paint" as it doesn't always work well and you have to be selective in deciding what to use and what not to. But it's a lot of fun although it can be frustrating at times. I had to learn by trial & error...

OK lets try this again. Really like it now how did you do it?? I have taken a similar shot out doors. Really an accident came from shooting in dark shadows and saw the shot and took it I was way over exposed it actually came out very interesting

I used the free download program, "Picasa." It has a filter called "Pencil Sketch" that makes the photo look like a pencil sketch. Then I tinted using another filter and then used a filter which kept the pink color and left the rest in black and white. Many times I cannot even remember how I did it and can't for the life of me duplicate.
