If the right wing is in fact damaged as it looked like in the pix you sent, keep an eye on it if you can afford the time to do so.

I found the original post funny. What gets me is if a hiker, say in Glacier NP, has a bad encounter with a bear, the bear is hunted down and killed. If you go into the wilds it's the bear's playground. You assume the risk and decide if you are ok with the odds. The bear is just being a bear. It's the same with swimming with sharks around. Of course I've never had a good ass kicking by a bear or played Charlie the tuna to a large shark so I guess I shouldn't throw in my 2 cents.

Well, Pounder, I have done both, but I'll take my chances on dealing with bears. As far as sharks go, most folks don't think that Lemon sharks or Nurse sharks will bother them. They will. In the Northern climes, Bull Sharks are very troublesome. As far as going into bear country, they say to wear bells on your shoes or strapped to your arms/legs whatever is moving so that when you walk the critters will know where you are at. I think that it's a dinner bell. I've seen cute little bells in bear scat too many times during a recovery situation. Stupidity numbs my mind. What the heck do some folks think?

The .357 mag was developed for the Police during depression years because bad guys started wearing body armor to rob banks and the .38 Spl wasn't powerful enough to get the job done. The .38 Spl case was lengthened to hold more powder therefore making it a .38 on steroids.

That is why you can fire .38 caliber ammo through a .357 frame. I would discourage this. Not at all because there is a problem with the weapons function, but because it really is a pain in the ass to clean the weapon when you're done. Gun ranges in the cities have rules to the effect as to blazing away with a .357 and have no qualms with a .38. Since I now live in the country, I'm smiling. I'll keep on using my wheel gun whenever I need to. And, by the way pbearperry, you are fairly well informed, but still work on your actual facts. Have YOU ever thrown a .38 round or twenty through your .357 ? I didn't think so. Don't waste your time trying it, and don't pretend to "Inform" the gun folks in the area what you don't know about.

Holy cow Wes....I've never seen an owl as up-close and personal as you happened to see. Well, once a Snowy Owl flared up in front of me when I was driving up the highway up here, but there was no way I could have gotten the pic. You are a Lucky critter!!! Thanks for showing us folks that. Even though I live in mid-northern Wisconsin, images like that are too damn good to be missed. 8-)

Woman Stops Grizzly Attack with 25 Cal Pistol

This is a story of self control and marksmanship with a very small caliber shooter by a woman against a fierce predator. What is the smallest caliber you trust to protect yourself? The Beretta Jetfire:

“While out hiking in Alberta Canada with my boyfriend, we were surprised by a huge grizzly bear charging at us from out of nowhere. She must have been protecting her cubs because she was extremely aggressive.

If I had not had my little Beretta Jetfire with me I would not be here today!”

“Just one shot to my boyfriend’s knee cap was all it took.... The bear got him and I was able to escape by just quickly walking away at a brisk pace.

“It’s one of the best pistols in my collection....”
And this is supposed to be either Humorous or Informative? Get rushed by a bear one time up there, and I don't think you"ll take something like that so lightly. If you do, I think the autopsy would figure out that you croaked from having a pea-shooter trying to get a little piece of shit pistol like that going South-Bound out of a critters backside. I guess this is how you collect on insurance policies. You are one disturbed person.

Not only that, but I actually do climb, and there is not a snowflakes in hell he wouldn't be up there without he gear that you need to get there. TOTALLY FAKE. I'm thinking whatever posted this is a newbie that does not understand word one about pix. That might be wrong, because the background was nice, too bad whatever it was tried to mess with folks that actually understand pix. 8-)

It makes sense to me, but I am SURE that there are a bunch of others that disagree. I had a relative that was killed by a critter that was released from prison. This is a double sided sword, and I tend to look at it from both sides. I've read alot about people being locked up and when released can't handle freedom, so they go out and commit crimes so they are put back into their "Safe" position that they've known for many years. There's not enough money released to rehab for the idiots that commit crimes to study exactly WHY they did what they did, and I'm getting too damn old to waste my time figuring out how to be of help. All I do know is this: If someone breaks into my house and steals from me, they'll probably try it again. That's when they get a toe-tag. The convicts all of a sudden get "religion" after they're busted because I believe they can get out of their cells to go and sit in a group in Church (Sanctuary) and network to plan other shit to try and pull off. I believe either Texas or Arizona will be where I will settle on for retirement.

Why wouldn't he be in charge? Obama is in charge isn't he?

Obama isn't in charge of anything. There's not one nation that is in "charge" of anything anymore. Until America gets back to AMERICA the whole world is going to go to hell. Clearer heads will prevail, and from what I've seen, it's not going to happen soon. I'm giving up on America. I see immigrants driving around in vehicles that I wish I could have owned. The Government builds them houses, because of a lay-off, mine was taken away from me. I don't give a rat's ass about Government. They all LIE. Sure, back in the 1800's or the 1900's the "Melting Pot" of America was good, but since the 80's up until present this land has gone to hell.

This was good just for the fact that it reminded us of our youth. Most of the young critters cannot answer 10% of them. Next time you post that (If you do venture into this) Place it so the respondents can answer with a click of a finger. Think about it, but all in all......you got your point across. Good luck to you.
