I have both versions of this lens. The original was "OK", but slow to focus, lots of "hunting". The newer version is infinitely better. Quick auto focusing, faster response all over and Clarity, Bokeh, IQ, etc This lens is a dream come true !
Absolutely fantastic shots of a beautiful animal, Leopards are amazing cats. But these photos bring out the beauty in them.
I have a friend who has had problems with her 2 Panasonic cameras. They both say that the battery does not conform to the camera. These batteries are both batteries that came with the cameras and are fully charged. I believe Panasonic has an undetectable glitch in their software. The cameras both have Leica lenses in them and did take fantastic photos (when they worked).
You can order the part and wait the 3 months, or get another (more updated) camera.
B and H photo, Adorama, Roberts Photo, just to name a few. Good luck.
Yes, this IS a Keeper. Great photos too
Just use Google or You Tube to clear up any misunderstood words. Get their full understanding and bring back your love of photography. You don't have to be defeated by stupid words. You can think. Words do not think.
Why is no one asking "where's the Super Scoopers ?
This is called Manufacturers prerogative. It also protects cameras from Third Party batteries damaging OEM equipment.
Thanks, GL Smith. I dont remember what my Watson was, A or B. But I have 2 NIKON batteries now, an EN-EL 18a and an EN-EL 18b which I am quite happy with.
A Watson battery came as part of a bundle when I bought my NIKON D4 S. I used the Nikon battery supplied with the camera, and the Watson. As one battery came close to "empty", I would switch out batteries. Needless to say, The Watson one day would not charge. I tried several times to recharge it, but "no go". The NIKON battery is still functioning ! P.S. I never let my batteries fully discharge.
Absolutely amazing ! I never knew there were pidgins that looked so photogenic. Thanks for enlightening me. They are quite beautiful and Enrique.
Yes, I have a NIKON D 4 S. I used an off brand battery as a backup. it worked fine until the battery itself gave up the gost.
She is using the battery that came with the camera. She used it for about a year, then the camera refused to accept it, even with a full charge.
