I have used several suppliers of photo books and prefer Picaboo for their software, quality and quick delivery.

I too have the 24-240 lens and I am very pleased with it, a great walkaround lens and actually the only one I use on my A7ii.

I am a fan of Picaboo, I like their software the best and the quality is great. They also give a quick turnaround.

Your two lenses will easily cover photos of the creatures in th Galapagos. You would probably be OK with just the 18-135 as the "creatures" are all pretty tame since they lack predators. I did use a 18-270 for all my photos.

I was not real impressed with NYIP and my 3 year allowance to complete the course just ended. Their printed material is good, the tests are good too. As noted above, the videos were boring and in a monotone. With my interest being in landscape and nature photography I found too large a percentage of the course devoted to portraits and weddings.
I also thought the photos sent to them for critique had very short and lame comments. I did not complete the course.

I have a Sony A 55 and a Tamron 18-270 lens and it is a great combination, no lens changes. Sounds like it would easily cover your needs.

I have an A7ii and bought the Matsumoto/Rolland book and find it difficult to learn all the cameras features. The Friedman archives book is quite expensive but may be a good one. Lastly amazon has a book due out soon by Brian Smith that I am waiting for. Hope this helps.

Thank you all again for your suggestions and helping me resolve the problem. I was pretty certain when I put the card in it asked if I wanted to format and I did format. I did put the card directly into the computer, so it wasn't a card reader/cable problem.

Thank you all for your suggestions! I have a Sony A 55 and an A7ii, neither have internal memory. I took the problem SD card from the A7ii and put in the A 55 and it took a little time but I could see the pictures. Then putting the SD card into my computer they downloaded without a problem.
Thanks again.

Can anyone advise how to save photos on an SD card visible in my camera that will not download because the new card was not formatted? If I try to format it now the camera or the computer says all data will be lost. Thanks

Great shot! I was there last October and tried for the same shot but I would have needed a step ladder.
