The meter on your camera automatically compensates for the increased exposure unless you are in manual mode. By indicating the increased exposure on the filter it's advising on how much exposure will be lost.

Hi, after suffering an injury I can no longer carry the weight of my Dslr system. I am looking at Four Thirds for the lighter weight.
I mainly shoot landscape and portraits with occasional wildlife outings. Any help from Hogs that use the system would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks Steve.

Don't know if it can be just reversed with no repercussions?

I'm of the opinion that it will not be reversed. If the result had gone the other way there would have been no talk of legal battles. Why can't the people decide their own future. Bad losers comes to mind. The only decisions should be made by the UK.

Wolfi the 50mm is a must. I would suggest a f1.4. Although the 1.8g is also a great lens.

Hi from sunny UK . Welcome to the Hog! Personally I'd keep with the Nikon lens.It is imo sharper and It retains more value should you ever wish to part with it.
Hope you have a great safari!

Hi Susan, if you want to stay up to date then I would suggest any of the 7000 series all being dx bodies. Hope this helps. Happy shooting. Just take time and enjoy your photography, Rome wasn't built in a day!
