Has anyone had experience with motion detected trail cameras? What is the optimal response time, such as less than one second, best in focus range, least blurred pictures, reasonable amount of gb, best power source to use and reasonable cost ( range up to $199)

Jim,
I had the same problem a few days ago. I use a pc with Windows 7 and don't use Picasso. I resolved the problem by simply restarting my pc. I let Microsoft automatically download security issues and that may have caused the glitch. If all else fails restart.

I have an Epson V600 that does an excellent job with 35mm slides. Since 3D slides are much smaller I haven't figured out a way to use the templates that work for 35mm's! Any additional suggestions?

Zeiss Ikon, 3d (probably Kodak), Mamiya Sekor 35mm. All stolen from home 30 years ago. Jumped right into better cameras from the start in the 60's. After all were stolen lost interest until digitals came along.

Was in love with the 3D camera and now have hundreds of 3D slides that are proving difficult to move to the computer in order to print or DVD.

The Zeiss was an extremely fine camera as was the Mamiya. Easy to operate and great quality.

The Northwoods photo workshop was excellent. Univ of Wisconsin Stevens Point sponsored the program. We were on field trips each day to several places in Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. Water falls, fall colors, Boggs and composition were featured with critiques, speakers and new techniques each evening.
The workshop was for 2 weeks with the weekend free. Cost in 2014 was around $1000 per person including lodging and all meals at a very nice lodge.
Our 2 instructors were excellent. I think this was their 25th time to conduct this workshop. Can't miss on this one.

Consider "Road Scholar" for photography classes in several places in the US. My wife and I have taken 3 classes with RS and have enjoyed, learned a great deal and met several excellent teachers and students. Classes are limited to about 15 max students and have 2 instructors. Costs are very nominal and include lodging (always top notch), meals and traveling during class days. You are on your own getting to the locations.

The 3 locations we have participated in are: a ranch in Colorado; Cortez, Colorado (4 Corners) and Northwoods Wisconsin. RS offers many more locations for photography than the 3 we've attended. All levels of expertise are welcomed. All instructors are pros and many of the students are very knowledgable and helpful.

Just go to roadscholar.com for all info.

Will PSE13 access and use the previous version of PRE12 to create videos and DVDs? If it is possible to use two different versions how do you tie them together?
Alternative if not possible to tie them is to purchase PRE13. Tried to save $$ by buying PSE13 when B&H Ran a special in December.
