Try visiting Ha-Ha-Tonka State Park. I think it's close to Camdenton. It's definitely work a visit.
Great shots. I especially like #2 and #3.
OK, thanks. I figured you was referring to a tool in either Photoshop or Lightroom.
Thanks for your feedback, ebbote and Linda From Maine. Question- what is dodge tool?
Shot this after the rain last night. Used my new Pentax DA 60-250mm lens. Not really the right application for this lens, but I don't have a macro lens yet. Still, it turned out better than I thought it would. Always looking for input.
Any thoughts for a really good macro lens to go with my Pentax K3?
Thanks all for the encouraging feedback. Makes me want to head back out with the camera.
I've been admiring the posts for months- thought I'd try posting a shot. Any thoughts?
Tiggerpaws,
Don't forget that YNP is about 7000 feet above sea level. Not a problem most of the time, but if you take the trail down to view the lower falls, you'll probably notice the climb back up the trail. I would also highly recommend a trip to Glacier NP some time for your group. It my personal favorite.
Nice shots- I especially like the second picture. What was your exposure on it?
When I bought my Pentax K3, I bought the battery grip also ($100). I really like it, mostly for shooting vertical shots. Instead of awkwardly holding the camera over the top, I use the same hand position on the battery grip as I use normally when holding the camera, and all of the crucial functions (shutter release, EV compensation, ISO, AF, dials) are within finger reach and using the same arrangement as on the camera body. Also, I think the battery grip helps the camera balance better when a telephoto lens is used. Since my battery grip is a Pentax, I can't answer your question about after market products. Hope this helps.
Really nice pictures. Looking at "Sunset Over Bergamo", I can almost feel the warm evening breeze.
