I own the aforementioned Nikon D5600.
I have seen some discussions talking about "crop sensors" and cameras that take a less than full frame picture and how some cameras have an effect on the lenses focal length.
How can I find out how all of these effect the 5600.
Also how does all this effect what lens I buy? for example "Nikon AF-P DX NIKKOR G ED VR Lens

Biggest Caveat, the 5600 is entry level, along with all the 3xxx series. IT HAS NO FOCUS MOTOR IN THE CAMERA, WHICH IS LIKE THE 3XXX SERIES CAMERA'S.
Hence you can only use AP-S lenses with focus motors in them. If you want AF this camera requires proper lenses. This is the first and most important part of your distinction. Much research beyond this point.... Sorry???
