I live in ID and would like to check out.

Nice images!

Not too far from the Silver Lake, Christmas Valley part of the state. High Desert country, Quite a drive South and East of Bend. Then try to find "Hole in the Ground" and other scenics.

South of Portland Oregon, off the East side of Interstate 5 is the town of Canby Or. The Dahlia Farm at Canby is huge and offers a large number of varietals. I spent hours there one day. Endless supply of photo ops.

Many great annual events in Sisters. One, being a very large jazz festival taking place at many venues in and around the town. Sisters is a cowboy town and the annual rodeo is well attended, and quite a photo event.

Where might I get a working camera to shoot 127 film?
Thanks,

Frugal photographer sells fresh 127 film in color and black/white. It was a 4CM film to be shot in 4X4 and 4X6 and was produced originally by Kodak.

Frugal Photographer carries a number of odd format film including supplying and processing 110 film.

This is the restored slide of the airplane I first soloed in. It was taken in the mid 60s At Fort Knox, Ky. Sweeet memories for sure!

ME! Piper J-3 Cub. Waynesville Airport and Skydiving Club. Just south of Wright-Patt AFB Dayton Ohio.

Taildraggers forever.

Always timed takeoff to fly low over number one tee on golf course across road from the end of the strip. Best score was when one of the four players were teeing off as you buzzed over.

Solo'd in 1990.

I own the aforementioned Nikon D5600.
I have seen some discussions talking about "crop sensors" and cameras that take a less than full frame picture and how some cameras have an effect on the lenses focal length.
How can I find out how all of these effect the 5600.
Also how does all this effect what lens I buy? for example "Nikon AF-P DX NIKKOR G ED VR Lens
Thanks John

Biggest Caveat, the 5600 is entry level, along with all the 3xxx series. IT HAS NO FOCUS MOTOR IN THE CAMERA, WHICH IS LIKE THE 3XXX SERIES CAMERA'S.

Hence you can only use AP-S lenses with focus motors in them. If you want AF this camera requires proper lenses. This is the first and most important part of your distinction. Much research beyond this point.... Sorry???

Plan to spend a day walking the docks, plus many good eateries. The place I consider bestest and mostest of a time in all of Washington.

Well in addition to Hood Canal, Anacortes and Whidby Island (See the great photo school on Whidby by Ferry ride from Seattle.)
