That happens to me all the time when I try to take them. And then they jump on the lens and I get nothing. I really need a macro lens!!!

1. What are you shooting with? Camera/Lens? 2. Always remember that if they plane/helicopter has a propeller to make sure your shutter speed is slowed down for prop blur. Which looks like you did a good job of here :) Also sometimes the lighting is just bad so try to get into the best possible light you can.
