Thank you. I see more "hooky" days coming up.
Thanks thomt. Sometimes opportunity shows up at just the right time.
Like the song says...lots of pretty women and i'm gonna get me one.
Yep!! But this one is special from long ago.
Erv, there is this beautiful lady that I knew 50 years ago. Our paths crossed last April and !!!!!!!!!!!
Need I say more?
Have not posted in some time as life was just too busy. Sold the house and moved from Denver to Overland Park, Kansas.
Trying to get settled in and prepared for spring. Hoping to get a lot of camera time in this year.
Chanced on this one at a local sanctuary during a play hooky day.
In honor of the many who have answered the call and never returned.

Isn't it true that a lens can be perfectly on with one camera yet need fine tuning with another? It doesn't mean that the camera is less sharp. I just bought a 70-200mm and was expecting tremendously sharp photos with my D800 but I'm not getting them. My pro at Arlington Camera said he'd help me fine tune both that and my 24-70.
Yes. I have 2 7100 Nikons. Every lens over 50mm needs a little tweaking on one while the other is dead on without adjustment.
Looks like May Apple (Mandrake)
Using a 42" Vizio right now. As a monitor it works great 1920x1080. Downloaded photos on this sight are much better than on my dual monitor system. I have done very little pp on this unit but has proven satisfactory. Give it a try and see how it works for you as we each have different needs.
Fascinating old drill. You are rattling my memories. Thanks for sharing.

[quote=rpavich]I'm not sure who knows this but I've tried it and it works amazingly well.
When shooting black and white film and developing in Diafine, you can develop different ISO rolls in the same tank at the same time. If you think about what that means, it means that you can also mix ISO's on the same roll and get good results too.
Pretty cool if you ask me.
I did a test where I shot a roll of Tri-X at 200, 400, 800, 1600, and 3200 and developed it in Diafine and the shots all came out fine. There were differences, but they all were plenty usable.
And to think that about 2 summers ago; I removed from the freezer and threw away 3 unopened 100 ft spools of film. 1 each Tri x, Plus x and Panatomic x
