Well, my 2020 New Years resolution was to start posting some photos again. I've got two days left. I better hurry. First photo- Nikon D-7100, Laowa 100 mm 2X macro lens on 55mm extension tube using 2 flash diffused with 2 layers of coffee filters on DIY horziontal stacking rig. Magnification 2.85:1
Second photo- Camera & lens the same as first, but no extension tube using a modified WeMacro vertical stacking rig. Magnification 1.18:1
Stacked using Zerene Stacker.
Well.......I started on Dec, 30 but I type really slow so this will be my first & last post for 2020.
HAPPY NEW YEAR
Outstanding detail. I enjoyed looking at all the very fine wing details.
Another nice stack. I like the detail. Question..... How do you keep your insects so clean?
Another super series. You are a true master with the MPE65.
Very nice stack. Great detail of an interesting subject.
No, No. Don't do anything to damage you specimen. I sometimes have a weird sense of humor. I haven't been back very long but I'm sure you'll get used to my weirdness.
Very nice stack but I don't see the four teeth .
Extremely well done. Spot on focus. The detail of the web really frames the spider and adds to your photos.
Thanks for the links. I just ordered a lab jack. Already have a milling table like yours. Bought it a couple years ago. It needed a Z axis which I didn't have. Thanks to you I will have the needed Z axis.
Very nice detail. It's a really pretty blue. Too bad it's so destructive.
Thanks for the detailed reply. I think I'll order a lab jack & a roller ball. Really neat idea.
Thanks for the reply. I appreciate the info. Nice looking rig. How do you like using the lab jack?
Super sharp detail. Lighting is great. Well done.
Outstanding photos. Great detail.
