I might be wrong, but didn't the democrats r**t when Abraham Lincoln used his Executive power to sign the Emancipation Proclamation into law.
Guess they didn't like a Republican telling them they couldn't have s***es then either. The Klan was started by the Dems to keep b****s from v****g. Why would they back Trump now.
Then there was the famous Democrat LBJ quote,
"These Negroes, they're getting pretty uppity these days and that's a problem for us since they've got something now they never had before, the political pull to back up their uppityness. Now we've got to do something about this, we've got to give them a little something, just enough to quiet them down, not enough to make a difference."
That should tell the world something about liberals, they follow the same line, just spin it like it's the Republicans are doing it.

As the Macs get newer, there is less you can do inside them.
Some of the new Win PCs are the same way. The lower end machines aren't built to be upgraded, they just want you to buy a faster one.

SSD is a super fast replacement for a HDD (hard disk drive). It is "solid state" so has no delicate moving parts. The problem for photographers is that they don't store a lot because they are small compared to HDDs. That said, if you watch many tutorials people like Julieann Kost and Tim Gray use Apples with SSDs and always have one or two external drives plugged in.
You can pick up a 1TB SSD for around $350 to $450

I hadn't noticed that - hardly ever use Auto!
WOW!!
I had to put my camera in auto to see if it worked. It did!
So next time I hand it to someone to take a pic just put it in auto.
It won't take long to remember to switch it back. LOL
I'm so used to manual or Aperture priority & BBF.
You're going to stir up a lot of crap with that question. Search this topic and see what you find.
Now if you feel you must "UPGRADE", look in UHH classifieds, you'll see a lot of Nikons for sale in there. Not so many Canons tho.
What's that tell ya?
If you've sold yourself on the 6D, wait till next year, because there are rumors of a NEW 6D mk 2 coming out.
If nothing else, you'll see a lot of older 6Ds turning up for sale.
Just my 2ยข worth.

I have this Canon lens that I use on my Canon 70D. A wonderful lens! When I switch the lens to MF, there seems to be no effective focusing with front lens ring.
Is it broken, or am I doing something wrong, or have to make another adjustment?
Thanks
I have the same lens, and that baffled me for a while.
I use BBF and found that the lens will take a nap on ya when you're not expecting it. Just press the shutter half way, that wakes it up.
If you're in manual mode on the lens you still have to wake it to manually focus. It really is a good lens!
Danny Clinch! Photographer of the Rock stars.
You may not recognize the name, but you'll know his work.
I think I prefer this one. They are both good, but the over all tone of this one looks more natural, and the fact that you did back off a little helps too. The only thing I miss on this one is the brighter catch light in her eyes. Nice work!

As suggested, I found one without flash. Does this better reflect the transition of light on her face that you were speaking of? It's also a little cooler, and pulled back a bit. I know the warmer tones in the first post are not everyone's favorites, but for some reason, I am still drawn to them. Your opinions do make me pause though....so please, let me know what you think. Oh yeah, please don't take the liberty of re-processing it yourself and re-posting. Thanks:)
Might check your White Balance too. Just a thought.
All 3 shots are great, but I'm more drawn to the B&W, just a preference of mine.
I've looked at your website Alissa, and find you a very talented photographer. Keep up the good work!!

I have several older Sunpak flashes that I use quite often, but all are triggered by Yongnuo flash triggers instead of the camera. No problems yet.
