Adhesive filter adapter works very well on the Sony RX100 series, so should be similar for ZS100

My wife and I toured Victoria Falls a few years back, about the same time as you are going. The pathway along the falls provides some great views. Part of that pathway is covered in mist. For us, at one point, there was so much mist we could not see the falls. It was like walking through a rain storm. Our tour company provided some heavy duty ponchos which worked well. Also there were vendors at the falls that will rent ponchos. Knowing the mist may present a problem, I mostly kept my DSLR under my poncho and just used a waterproof point'n shoot. A plastic rain sleeve for your camera will work too. A bit cumbersome, but they'll do the job. Keep in mind that your shoes will get soaked. Wear crocks or something similar. Here's a YouTube link showing our trek through VF and the mist: https://youtu.be/S7QSG_MdA7M Hope this helps. You'll enjoy the falls.

I completely agree, it's almost impossible to get any decent shots of the falls along the pathway, even if you have waterproof camera as your lens will be covered by droplets. The mist and spray is just too heavy no matter the ponchos or plastic sleeves you use. Seriously, the only way to get good shots of the breadth of the falls and to see the depths is to take the helicopter ride. Your dslr or whatever camera would stay dry and you would get your once in a lifetime terrific shots of the whole Victoria falls.

Maybe there are just so many more Nikon users.

In the US may be, definitely not worldwide.

Do you see the difference in quality?

Please check the number of recalls for Nikon vs Canon in recent years.

I'm fairly new to DSLR photography. My daughter and I plan to visit England for 3 weeks in June/July, and would like to get some great pictures of the splendid cathedrals there, both inside and out. I now have gotten a Nikon D750 and their 24-70 zoom lens. Would some of you who are more experienced suggest any other lens or lenses to get prior to our trip?

For cathedrals, you need a really wide lens and best of all a perspective control lens. These samples are taken with a Canon EF-S 10-18mm lens mounted on a sony 6300 and it's barely wide enough.

Counting Sales is probably the most important part because without profit, where is R&D coming from, who is going to make a fine camera with no hope of hitting a sales target, and no return on investment. The sales figure is going to be the Achilles heel, that will determine the fate of these expensive state of the art cameras.

I meant no insult. It was intended as a 'tongue in cheek' jab. I am in my upper 60's and close to retirement myself. However, I do take exception to my generation running down the younger generation. I have the great fortune that most of my colleagues are in their thirties. Without exception they are hard working, committed individuals. They put more value on experiences and friends than 'things' and possessions like our generation. They should not be faulted for spending $75 on a meal with friends instead of a UV filter for a camera.

Exactly what we are saying, instant gratification ($75 meal, an entry in FB), vs something that may last a life time (UV filter, real friend).

Not necessarily - Microsoft stopped including it as part of the OS package quite a while ago; I'm not sure if XP or Vista was the last OS version to include Windows Movie Maker before it was dropped. It is definitely not included with 7 and up.

It is free in Windows 10.

For example only; not a recommendation...... A report in a recent consumers magazine said that the 2013 D7100 was still one on the most popular DSLR's over a year old in use; a couple of Canons were also listed. No other brands made that list. But a four year old camera still holding its own against the likes of the D500? I'm impressed!

(Don't even ask; the cover was torn off and it was in my doctors waiting room where all the front covers are removed but the magazines are rotated monthly)

Magazines with their covers torn off means they were taken off the newstand (no longer saleable) as a new issue comes out and these coverless copies are given for free to whoever your friend is.

And you need a shift lens!

Well said Revhen, in this age of rage and entitlements, we all need patience and compassion.
Sure everyone needs a shift lens if one wants superb photos of buildings before post processing, and wonderful control of perspective.

As I very clearly stated earlier if you can read I do not own any. But rent them regularly as needed for various project requirements from buildings to site models that are very large where the tilt comes in very handy for getting it all in focus. One does not need to own a lens to use it today. I do the same with cameras as well as need arises. Very similar to videographers seldom purchase the very expensive cameras and lenses used for certain productions but rent them for the intended use.
This way I have the opportunity to use some very interesting products that are not needed regularly and waste money and resources on something collecting dust 95% of the time just to brag I wasted money on it. Are your multiple TS lenses used daily? Even weekly? Even monthly? I doubt it if you are being honest. Owning a lens does not make one an expert with it's function. I could own a plane and have no clue as to how to fly it. It must be used frequently, especially the more complex it is to really know anything. Bragging about possessions is pretty stupid and a waste of life. And I really doubt your bragging about money spent and competence with it.

It depends on how much travelling you do. For those who loves travelling (as I do), a PC lens is a Godsend as in most places you visit, you always find that trying to photograph buildings, churches, etc. without keystoning means you either have to be a long way away or you have to be at an elevation which you cannot achieve, especially if you are on tour with a group. So owning a PC lens is not a matter of bragging but an essential item if you love the beauty of architecture. The Nikkor 35mm PC was not that expensive when it first came out.
