Cannon has replaced it with ImageBrowser EX. You can download it directly to your Surface and install it.

Well, at my age I would have to pass on it.

I've always recommended Bluehost.com to people.
(If they had no idea/preference, I set them up at Bluehost.)
Decent rates (not exorbitant like some others) and very helpful when needed.
I think they have a website builder... (I don't use builders, I hand code.)

Then there's the hosting company I've been using for 19.5 years:
NibbleNetwrx.com

Or did you mean pre-canned photo display website company?

I agree with this. I have used Bluehost for a long time without any problems. They are reasonable and their uptime is incredible. Their support is very good IMO.

I don't use WordPress but Bluehost has a reputation of being a good place to do WP.

I have been on Amazon several times looking for a DSLR camera. I have researched till I am blue in the face, and have narrowed it down to 2 bundles.
One is brand new, and the other is about $100 less and renewed. Is there anyone out there who has experience with the renewed products on Amazon? Are they reliable and in good condition? They SAY the products are in excellent condition and have been tested but you never know.
Thank you in advance.☺️

I am writing this reply on an "HP Compaq 8200 Elite SFF PC" manufactured in 2012 that I purchased renewed from Amazon about 6 years ago. I have replaced the cooling fan and installed an SDD replacing the HDD. My wife has on of the same vintage and I have not had to do anything to it. I know this is anecdotal but it runs 24/7 without any issues.

I also have an MS Surface that I bought renewed from Amazon 4 years ago. It runs flawlessly as well. When it was delivered it looked brand new.

I have had good luck with Amazon renewed products. I cannot vouch for renewed camera equipment, however.

My last thought is to buy the new one if it's only $100 difference.

No, you have it backward. Restart attempts to restart any applications that were open at the time of the command. Shutdown closes all open applications before shutting down the O/S' and turning the PC off. When you turn the machine back on, only those apps that are in the Startup list will be automatically started.

It may be that some of the apps that were open at the time of shutdown will try to restore the prior session. For example, Firefox will ask if it should attempt to restore the windows or start a new session. It will only ask that question if it was running and was forcefully ended by some command. Some of the ways to end Firefox and have it ask about restoring the former windows are ALT/F4, Shutdown, End Task from Task Manager, or Restart. It will also ask when started after there is a program error. There may be other apps that will try to restore a former session under the same conditions.

This doesn't jive with my experience. I just did a restart on my win-10 pc. When I did it Chrome, my code editor and my web stack were running. I had to restart all of them. In my experience, only hibernate and wake up result in running programs still running.

A restart clears the operating system completely. A shutdown is exactly that. Anything you are using is still ready when you boot up again.

Are we confusing things with "hibernate." Hibernate saves the state of the OS to disk and shuts down. When it wakes up, the saved state is loaded into memory and the system continues where it left off. Somewhere I read that the fast startup feature is like hibernate in disguise. See here: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-disable-windows-10-fast-startup.

I have never used fast startup or hibernate/sleep I want the machine to start from scratch if there is a problem.

I tend to click on Shut Down or Hibernate when I'm finished with a computer. "Restart" is a real shut down because it clears everything nasty out of memory, and you get a clean start.

Yesterday, neither printer would print, and I had the Epson "Connection Checker" stuck on the screen for hours. I couldn't get rid of it. After doing a restart, all is right with the world.

When I do a restart the power light goes out and quickly comes on again. I have always felt that restart was just a convenient of shutdown/power on.

Since the arrival of SD Cards, I relegated my USB drives to the back of my pc supply drawer. I was under the opinion that USB drives were nearing the dinosaur status. For curiosity I went to B&H website and searched SanDisk USB drives. To my surprise were listed a number of USB SSDs having up to 2Tb. Not cheap, but they are there. Thus, am I wrong believing USBs are outdated technology? I would expect the SSD version to be faster than the older version. As a curiosity I bought a 1tb version, but have not tried it yet until I figure out how to reformat it to fat32. It comes formatted to xfat. I have a few audio players that will only accept fat32. I read somewhere that fat32's maximum memory capacity is 2tb. Guess xfat is ready for larger capacities.

I usually buy USB sticks by the 10 pack. They are very handy for backing up projects I am working on and you can copy music and books to them to play back in the car.

I suspect the innards of an SD card and a USB stick are very similar...
