Tim, nicely captured! The color purple works for me on these vehicles. May I add my contribution of my purple 1933 Chevy Streetrod that I've owned since 1998?

Beautifully photographed, you captured all the unique features of this Pierce Arrow sedan! The door handles and through-windshield mounted spotlight were particularly unusual, don't think I've ever seen these before.

Tom, it seems somewhat paradoxical that Amelia Island would allow such "low brow" vehicles to grace the grounds of their show! I guess it's encouraging that they recognize the significance of the "Good 'ol Boys" of NASCAR as homegrown American racers. Long live the King! As usual, great photography on your part!!!

Looks very similar to the home I grew up in. It began as a Dutch homestead that was built in 1797 that served as both a home and barn, but then a 2-story brick home was added in 1804.

I still lust after a '57 Pontiac Safari, but fall short of the $100,000 it takes these days to purchase a nicely restored one such as the one you photographed.

Tom, can't say I've ever been totally enthralled by Porsches but this specimen would be a great looking car if it lost those ungainly and ugly lower headlights. I guess functionality over aesthetics won out!

The 1957 Pontiac 2dr Safari Station Wagon was a beautiful design and even fewer of these were produced than the Chevy Nomads. Do you have any more photos of this car showing more of its beautiful styling and possibly in a more natural format?

Tom, this is one that I've never heard of let alone seen! Looking at the photos, I see hints of the '53 Corvette and Nash Metropolitan. Any information about the power plant?
