Karl Marx was the author of the saying” Religion is the opiate of the masses”. Today, that is no longer the case. Today, it is the cell phone that is the opiate of the masses. It boggles my old mind how these people cannot put down their devices to walk, drive, or eat. It’s is just amazing to me, and I hesitate to see how much worse it can get.

Believe me it is going to get much worse than you can imagine. A couple of generations that can not function without a screen or a computer and can not even communicate with each other face to face. Much worse.

He also put people to work, but he didn't say he would pay you. Wise to really listen to what they say.

My problem is I live in an apartment complex. Out of my control! Lived here for a long time and never saw these. Just want my squirrels killed or anything else for that matter!

My son worked at a golf course and he says lots of activity on the surface they don't like and they leave. I guess I have to mow my yard more often.

About 30 years ago I had a Ferret for a short time. I made a harness for him out of Venetian Blind cord and I would take him out and let him hunt the moles, he would stick his nose under the dirt of the run then he was like a plow he only caught one mole, but his hunting sent then packing!! It was a trip to watch him, plow a bit pull his head out and sneeze a couple of times then back at it.
But then instead of ridges of dirt I had ruts!!! But I didn't have moles the rest of the time I lived there.

Maybe someone should bottle some ferret scent to squirter down the holes. Who knows it might work.

OK. First, I know it's a mound of something! I'm just curious what. I walk this area every day, and today, I saw these strange mounds formed in a specific row. I think they are coming from a bed of mulch. If I remember, there were about four mounds. I wonder if it was caused by animal digging. It was too specific.

I apologize for the lousy pictures! My lens wasn't appropriate for this so I couldn't get any decent shots. After experiencing some mushrooms disappearing on me after I shot them one day, I've learned not to assume they'll still be there the next day! If they're there tomorrow, I may try shooting these with my iPhone, but I didn't have the time.

Just seemed weird in how it was laid out, clearly not random clumps of ? dirt.

Moles, voles and gophers, take your pick. Have fun trying to get rid of them. Don't buy solar powered repellers, they don't work. In a day or so they buried a couple of the ones I tried.

He's NOT the kind of person who should be v**ed in as President.

The fact that he's under pressure to pay the huge court ordered fines, makes trump a huge National Security risk.

Any foreign money accepted by trump is what causes that National Security risk.

The bond for the Business Fraud Case was just posted by an insurance company run by Dan Hankey, whose bank refinanced several of the trump properties in the past.

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/trump-posts-175-million-bond-civil-fraud-case-rcna145960

Being under such financial strain isn't conducive to making decisions in the best interests of the country. Every decision trump makes while in office the second time, IF he somehow manages to pull of the miracle of winning the 2024 e******n, will be in his own best interests, not what's best for the country.

Remember that trump wants to throw out the US Constitution, and the rule of law, and turn the United States into an Autocracy or a Dictatorship! No more 1st or 2nd Amendment to hide behind, along with all of the rest of them!

The majority of the country doesn't want that, but with RFK, Jr. potentially entering the race, he could draw enough v**es to flip the e******n to trump.

Everyone should think long and hard about who they choose to v**e for in November, because your choice could end up destroying the democratic republic we've known for over 247 years.

Think about what the citizens or Russia and North Korea endure under their Dictatorship style of rule.

How many Russians have been imprisoned and/or lost their lives under Putin for speaking out or demonstrating against Putin? Many have been hunted down outside of Russia, and poisoned or assassinated.

How many North Koreans have lost their lives under Kim Jong Un for their opposing beliefs?

trump and his inner circle are already plotting retribution against trump's opponents.

Think long and hard about that when you choose who to v**e for in the 2024 General E******n, because your freedoms are definitely on the line in this year's e******n!

I viewed with horror as a Christian that Trump is now hawking Bibles to help him finance his campaign. There’s a pretty good article that outlines a lot of my objections. Particularly as today is Good Friday, the remembrance of Jesus Christ’s Sacrifice to save we mortals from our sins:

https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2024/03/trump-god-bless-usa-bible-lee-greenwood-reviews-paper-moon-o-brother-where-art-thou.html

The article compared Trump to the Grifters of the 1930’s and movie characters. I think he is extremely accurate in his description.

The article quotes 2 Corintians 2:17 – Bible Reference https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=2+Corinthians+2%3A17

The passage states the following:
ESV For we are not, like so many, peddlers of God's word, but as men of sincerity, as commissioned by God, in the sight of God we speak in Christ. NIV Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, as those sent from God.

Simply again – you do not profit from our creator’s words, to do so is blasphemy.

I also find it ironic that Trump, who has violated at least three of the Ten Commandments is pushing his Bible:

Number 7: You shall not commit adultery – Stormy Daniels and the Playboy Bunny while his wife was carrying his youngest son. His past includes c***ting on his first and second wife.

Number 8. You shall not steal – F**e charity, f**e university, and the best one stiffing investors and contractors in Atlantic City.

Number 9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. In other words, you shall not lie. Trump continues to give falsehoods, including about the 2020 e******n.

And this guy, Trump, is pushing the word of God to make money – this is nothing short of shameful. He is not worthy of the Presidency.
I viewed with horror as a Christian that Trump is ... (show quote)

Next thing you know he will be walking on water and raising the dead. He is already "speaking in tongues". Watch him more spectacular " miracles" to come.

The thrusters' main intent is for positioning into the berth at the dock, for instance, not for primary steering while in forward motion.

These floating, multi-acre man-made bergs of immensity are not able to be turned and stopped like Uncle Remus' weekend party boat on Podunk Puddle Pond.

I'm beginning to think people who have not been around heavy equipment of any sort, see the aerial wide angle photos of Dali at the Key Bridge, and have no idea what the scale of size, weight, maneuvering characteristics are, because the Dali doesn't look like much more than Baby Bobby's bathtub boat in the long range, wide angle views.

Why weren't there protective concrete pylons in front of each bridge support that would have brought any ship to a stop before actually hitting the bridge supports? Granted, I'm not an engineer, but it seems like common sense.

Gee, why don't they put brakes on ships so they can stop them. Hard to stop tons of ship and cargo on a dime. Container ship probably would have taken out the bridge at 2 knots. Too much weight.

When I was a kid, a friend and I devised a car game. I would close my eyes, and he would drive for a certain amount of time. When he stopped, I would have to find my way home. This was when gas was $0.25/gallon.

There was a variation of that game, but we never played it. The game would be played at night. When he stopped the car, he would push me out, and I would have to find my way home. 🤣

We had a game like that sort of. Drive down this straight stretch of road at night(60 or better) shut off the lights and see who would pull the lights back on first. Crazy stuff of youth and invulnerability.

Sounds like poor location, move them around some and see what happens. Have had several wall clocks that work fine. Several watches that work just fine. One watch a Casio G Shock solar powered Atomic watch with all functions programmed to the year 2099. Probably outlive me for sure.
