I liked the idea of how you applied the settings used on the pics so you could compare side by side!
My goal is to learn to use manual well. I am still in the learning phase but want to get to where I set the camera to get the result I want, not by getting by accident. I lost all confidence since getting off Auto and Program mode. I need to learn better control.
That is what I thought, but this is what was told to me. I am thinking that by using Program mode and changing settings then looking how this pic turned out is suppose to assist one in learning the correct settings for various conditions?
I had a professional photographer tell me to shoot in Program mode to understand the aperture, shutter, ISO workings. I see comments on shooting in Aperture or shutter. I am trying to understand how to choose which to set rather than havng the camera do it for me. What are the thoughts on this.....
I have been trying t decide between the Nikon D7100 or D 600 myself. The comment you made about considering WHAT you shoot I'm interested in hearing about. Could you tell me the type of shooting one would do over the other?
That's good advice, thanks :!:
I've noticed people referring to Sigma as another choice for lenses other than the brand of camera (Nikon, Canon etc) What are your thoughts on Tamron?
Great idea! perhaps you could patent the idea and sell?
wow. that's a great idea. For people who aren't so mechanically inclined especially like me. Only this is not intended for cameras so how would you suggest fitting it on shoe?
Low light has definitely been a problem, thanks for your insight.
What are the pros-cons of a full frame compared to the other?
Thanks, good info. I currently have a AF-S Nikkor 70-300 1:4.5 - 5.6 G and Tamron 17-35mm 2.8 -4 XR Di LD IF. I believe the Nikkor is a good quality lens, but questioning the Tamron?
I primarily shoot wildlife and landscapes with occasional weddings
I have a Nikon D80. I would like to upgrade to something I can grow with as an amateur photographer . I am not interested in video. I also don't have $3-5000 to spend. I understand that size of sensor is important. Any suggestions?
