Hey BC, I think that Global Warming is really beside the point. Should we as a inhabitants of this planet continue to pour Carbon Dioxide or worse, Methane into the air we breathe without the slightest regard for its effects on us and the environment. I think we should take steps to minimize our footprint regardless of the debate over Global Warming. Don't you think that is the prudent thing to do?

Hannity, like Bill O'Riely is an entertainer not a news man.

Shame, SBW, for posting lies about Social Security finances.
It was Ronnie Reagan who signed the bill to tax Social Security annuities.

There you go Larry, muddying the water with facts. The thing that gets me is the guys that post this crap don't even have the good sense to be embarrassed. Tomorrow someone else will post some baseless garbage and manage to get people all worked up.

No 'sarcasm' meant nor posted. The confusion on your part ensued because (once again) of your 'Reading Comprehension' problem. However, your response pretty well cinches the fact that in typical Liberal fashion, a person with your reading problem will view a statement by others, then automatically apply the "Liberal-Adjustment-Factor" of moving the facts to the left,180 degrees out from center, then acting on that erroneous assumption, will, once again, demonstrate their comprehension problem by responding with another nonsense comment.
There's a recommended book available for you, it's "READING COMPREHENSION FOR DUMMIES". Good Luck!

There's no sarcasm in your statement? It's all my problem, OK, I guess I better get a clue.

What makes you think I'm a liberal (I'm not)

I hope that is not a serious statement you just made. Paraphrasing, you are asserting that a community organizer might make a better leader than a military commander? Really?

Sure, Why not. What makes George W Bush, sitting at a desk of the Texas Air National Guard more qualified than Barack Obama, who was out in the community working side by side with the public. Now, before you start, I respect the service rendered by W and all of the other servicemen and women. I just don't think that it necessarily makes him more qualified.

I sincerely hope that Reading Comprehension is not your strongest point.

Wow, why don't we jump to sarcasm. What I was asking, and I'll rephrase it here, Is this president less deserving of respect because he didn't serve in the military?

And while I'm at it here's another question. Is serving in the military of more merit than serving your community? An argument could be made (I am not and will not make it here) that community service is superior to military service in molding a leader.

Hey BC, if you read down the comments a little you'll see that after I was corrected I acknowledged my error and thanked those who brought it to my attention.

You obviously miss the entire point of being willing to serve your country. People report for duty and agree to go where they are needed to do what is required. This includes 'desk duty' wherever or 'boots on the ground' where there are people who will try to kill you.
They are willing to interrupt their lives for either the four-year hitch, or maybe a career.
Whatever the motivation, these people interrupt their lives to serve when and where they are needed, at a time when they are needed.
This alone entitles them to your respect...unless, of course, you are a Democrat.

Are you saying then that a president isn't worthy of respect unless he's been in the armed forces?

What does this prove? The last president to see anything resembling combat was JFK.

If you are going to plagiarise articles you should at least acknowledge where you have sourced it from. Ok, it it is probably a syndicated article but a quick google search finds it here for example:

Why don't you demonstrate some skill and write something original instead of hiding behind other authors and failing to acknowledge them?

LA never has an original thought. All of his posts are cut and paste.

Some of those are pretty funny. I doubt Leno actually said those things but it's no big deal anyway. He rips on everybody.
