A 1/16th scale figure called "Attagirl" by Life Miniatures, based on the WW2 A.T.A ferry pilot Maureen Dunlop. The last photo is Maureen herself and the Barracuda aircraft she was to deliver!

Beautiful. Very detailed and I love the colors you selected.
Thanks, chosing the colours was half the fun.

What's your other hobby? Painting the model or photographing it?
Painting, but also photography!
"Angelica" made by Kimera models, oil and acrylic paint, fun but still learning!
My grandfather experienced this in WW2 also! He was walking back home from the workingman's club and saw two black Americian solidiers waiting at the bus stop, they asked him what time the last bus was. He told them they had missed it! They were not to sure how to get back to their base, and it was now blackout, he said not to worry he would show them. they went with him to his house (about a mile in the direction they had to go) so he could tell his wife what was happening and, on arriving, invited them in. They both refused saying they were not permitted to enter white peoples homes! He was incensed by this, he walked them back to their base, which was about a mile or so further on, and the following morning wrote a very strongly worded letter of complaint to their C.O!
Amazing, I once met a woman who was part of a three person kidney donation, one of whom was in a different country!
