Not actually a duck its a black swan. Reason its back looks a bit white I took this in bright high sunlight and its a bit washed out. I haven't got around to correcting it properly in photoshop

Get it the best you can in the camera - then post process whats yet needed. Shoot raw

Taken in San Diego. Depth of field too narrow - tail out of focus. F stop set at 5.6 probably should have been around 9. That's what you get when you let the camera think for you in lieu of making your own decisions

No, that is actually water It was just exiting the pond. I had a pretty narrow depth of field and very calm water. If you are referring to what is in front of him then I'm not sure what that is.
