In lots of areas the VFW has a rep of being a place for cheap drinks. In my part of Michigan we have some local leaders who believe in what it was founded for- Service. Yes there is food and drink, but also Scholarships, Honor Guards, and the kind of Emergency Help the Government fails to give its vets. Look around your area and you may be lucky to find a Post dedicated to service. While at the Library, ask who does their computer set up- they may help you set up your home network. Good luck and keep your spirits high.

That would be great if I had a laptop. I could just see me bringing in my tower.

A salute to you, and thanks for your service during what was a difficult time in our history. Hope to see you from time-to-time here, but if not, best of luck!

Thank, you and thanks for your service. Not sure you served but thanks anyway.
I've gotten several ideas on what to do from HHGs here. I doubt I'll be gone long.

It doesn't matter where you served, it's the fact that you did serve in a very important support roll. I wish and pray all goes well for you in your hour of need and also wish I could do more to help in some way. I served in Vietnam towards the end of the war as I was in country from 1971-1972. Thank you and all those who have served our country.

Yes, that has been explained to me a lot, about not being in Nam. Thanks for the prayers also, they do work.
Thank you for your service. And welcome home brother.
