On the 2nd and 3rd paragraphs of this the writer explains that he is in 2017. The article is obviously a bit old but seems to have some useful information in it.

I read the article, I think he needs to update some of his information. The author brings up the Nikon D800 and compares it to the other cameras he likes. He should have used the D850 which is a more current model. Also when he talks about Canon Professional Service he didn't mention there are different levels and depending on the level, you have to pay for your membership. Nikon Professional Service is free.

I guess you are showing your age when you recognise names like Matchless and A.J.S. As I remember it AJS stood for the original designers Anthony and James Strickland.

Just checked in the web and there is a FREE NTI Backup Now EZ program you can download which should open these files for you. Go Here
http://www.nticorp.com/download.html
to see what you can download. At the very least you get a 30 Day trial which should help.

A couple of years ago I saved or backed up some photo files on a DVD. Now when I go to view them or try to put them on my computer I can't get or figure out what program to use to open them for view and transfer. The suffix of the files are NBF . All I get is a message saying that the files can't be opened and select a program to open them. I haven't been able to find a program that will open them. Any help would be appreciated.

Snooper has got it covered. Canon EOS-digital-info is the bees knees. Its free and it works. Just ask Google to locate it for you, download and install. Open the software, plug your camera into your computer with the USB cable and press the buttonthat says Connect. BINGO!!

This is an image of a Foden Steam Powered Truck. Foden actually manufactured steam powered vehicles from 1896 to the early 30s.

I'm having the same problem at present. I find I have to "import" the PSD or TIF file after I've gone back to Lightroom. Therefore I'm not sure you are doing anything wrong.

The simplest way is o convert youir songs to MP3 files as almost all car players support this type of file.
I use a free piece of software called "Freac Audio Converter". There are heaps of these, Just Google CD to MP3 converter programs.

Since my new car does not have a CD player, I am now required to be entertained by flash drive.
Can someone give me detailed instructions on copying music from my computer to a flash drive?

Lorima, this vehicle was obviously used as a commercial activity of one kind or another. It states on the windscreen "Kaikoura Motor Company"
, while down the side it states "Christchurch Kaikoura Blenheim" In those days that would be a quite heavy journey as its about 5 hrs 58mins to cover the journey using todays roads. In fact at present the journey is over 8 hours following the Kaikoura Earthquake. There is a copy of this image for sale on Trademe, (Our Ebay equiv).
https://www.trademe.co.nz/antiques-collectables/new-zealand-maori/auction-1475255229.htm
I can say that there appears to be a "Shield" of some kind on the front of the radiator so that may assist someone in identifying it.

I'm sure there are a lot of car enthusiasts out there that may be able to help me identify this old car.

I'm doing some family history and would like to try and find out what this car may be. The photo was taken in New Zealand if that helps.

Thanks so much.

Perhaps you are talking about the Ravpower Filehub. This unit can be charged and used to charge your cellphone but its Main Claim to Fame is that you can insert a SD Card into one end and attach a external Hard Drive to the other and transfer your images from the SD Card to the Hard drive using a Android or Apple app on your phone or tablet. I have one. Its easy to use and as you can see, no computer required.

Hello, I think I saw listed on here the other day the name of a hard drive that was a stand alone...meaning no computer necessary to download to. Does anyone recall the name of this machine? Thank you K

Just built a system for a friend with a Ryzen 5 CPU from AMD. Nothing else over the top. Nvidia video card, 16 gig of RAM, 256gig SSD and 6T HDD. Does all he wants and thats all you can ask really but It is QUICK!!

Well - - it's one I've been saving up a year or more to build as well.
There is no commercial equivalent as mine is geared toward Gaming, but commercial HDD are typically 3x the price of consumer grade - even the NAS versions.
I could have built it cheaper - less redundancy, fewer disk drives, and would have saved $700 by only having a single video card instead of 3 in SLI
But then the computer I built in the 1990s still runs - Windows 3.11 and Ami Pro word processing - -
I almost lost my data drive in the late 1990's - - and swore I'd never come that close again
If my house catches fire - my 12 TB network server where all is backed up is coming with me - -
Well - - it's one I've been saving up a year or mo... (show quote)
