Yes the 18-105..lens that came with it..is a great lens...wide angle..VR lens works great for portraits or capturing any landscape or tall building!..

Thank you..done!..basically I've found for bright blue sunny days SS 1/800.. F 5.6 works great!... and just play around with it from there...depending on the light conditions.. a good starting off point SS 1/125... F5.6.. and then go from there..hope this helps!.. :)

Wow thank you so much!..I love what I do plain and simple..lol..nice lens but think it is a little or no a lot over my budget...but maybe fate will step in and I will win the lotto.. :thumbup: cross your fingers!... lol..

Hey everyone I finally got my new Nikon D7100 Yay!..lol..I am already loving this camera..soo fast and packed full of great features!..wasn't that hard of a learning curve but still going through and figuring this out..lots to see and learn been putting it through its paces and really seeing what this camera can do..Nikon really got it right with this upgrade..this is one powerful camera!..I will deff have questions for you all now and then coming from a Canon system this is a whole new experience for me..again I am soo excited!..Yay!..lol.. if you would like to see what I have been taking with it so far follow this link to my Charleston Architecture folder take a look and let me know what you think!.. Beautiful image!..so do you think I can get a wider image if need be with a wide angle lens..can that compensate for the crop factor?...

Yeah I wish I could afford a full frame FX but just not able to do it at moment been saving for the 7100 DX so will be purchasing that one soon..hopefully..but I am sure a wide angle lens would open up the width problem..hopefully..lol..

Yes I have been watching and reading all the reviews on this camera and I am pretty impressed..they have really thought about what was important and unnecessary for this one over previous models..looking forward to purchasing!..

Thank you but I think the 7100 sounds like a good solid camera for a none full frame..has a lot of great features comparable to the D4 so think I will wait for that one.. thank you for the info always appreciated!..so excited to get my Nikon D7100!...

Hey all I have been saving for the new Nikon 7100 which is a DX format camera..but was wondering what the difference is between FX and DX formats..is the FX format a full frame camera and DX still a crop camera..any feedback would be appreciated!.. thank you! :)
